I will not
put out the fire I lit.
I will walk through it.
The growing heat,
like a thousand blazing suns,
carrying the sweetest fragrance of
past mistakes and our lost love.
Night and day will flame around us,
my wrath is like a rapid wildfire.
I will burn away our memories,
each intimate moment we shared,
with plumes of dark smoke rising.
In the distance, I can hear
his silent whisper,
while he is looking at me in awe,
in his eyes a trace of torrid desire:
"What have I done?"
Baby, let that be a lesson to you,
my fire should never be tampered with.
My light cannot be extinguished.
