Elena's eyebrows rose as she saw Katie and Phillip standing close together. She giggled at Phillips shocked face as Victor spoke. "Katie and Phillip. Who would have thought?" said Elena softly. Her giggles turning into bellows of laughter as both Katie and Phillip blushed and started to protest. "Hush." stuttered Elena. "I was only playing with your mind."

"Personally My Lady I don't find that very amusing." said Katie rudely.

Elena and Vicotor's face reddened in anger at Katie's tone. "Watch your tone Katie. Remember that I am the princess and you are not." hissed Elena angrily.

"Oh yes a fine princess you are when you abandon your mission and your kingdom." replied Katie her red eyes flashing.

Elena's eyes filled with tears at Katie' harsh words. "At least I have respect for those around me." she whispered sadly and angrily before stalked off.

Elena walked through the garden deep in her own thoughts she knew that if she failed her mission not only her kingdom but the entire world would fall. Elena sat on the hard concrete bench in the center of the garden thinking on how to complete her mission.

Elena's mission was to kill Odium the right hand man to the god of the underworld. Odium was a cruel and ruthless man most people that tried to kill him did not come out alive again. Only one other person she knew had done this and that was her father. King Fain.

Elena laid on the bench and looked at the stars. She blinked as a blinding flash of light grew in the sky. A shooting star. Elena closed her eyes and made a wish her hair tangling in the breeze. She jumped as she heard a voice in the shadows.

"Elena...." it whispered softly.

Elena closed her eyes she recognised the voice from somewhere deep in her memory. She jumped up suddenly as she realised who had spoken. "Mother?" Elena whispered back.

Her mother stepped out of the shadows her blue eyes glistening with joyful tears. "My beautiful daughter you wished me to come and I have. What do you want?" she asked kindly rapping her arms around Elena possessively.

Elena smiled wetly. "I need your advice as to what you did when you married father." said Elena softly giggling as her mothers blond hair tickled her cheek.

"Elena you must do what you feel in your heart. I know what you are thinking. You are thinking that your kingdom comes before love but you are wrong. How often is true love found by people my daughter?" she asked kindly.

Elena looked into her mothers eyes and sighed. "I was hoping that you would say that my kingdom comes first. I think that I love him Mama it's just if I don't complete this mission the entire world will fall." Elena cried.

"My daughter.... The entire world will fall. This includes Odium. If you do not complete this mission you will be here with your husband deeply in love. Do not worry."

Elena cried out as her mother faded turning into an illusion. "Mother don't leave!" yelled Elena desperately.

"Remember what I told you Elena. Do not fall into Odium's trap. I love you."

Tears streamed down Elena's face as her mother disappeared. She heard crashing footsteps running towards her. King Victor.

"Elena are you alright we heard screaming?" Elena completely ignored the question and ran up to Victor, She looked into his eyes and crushed her mouth to his.

It was their fist kiss!
