"And that is how we became friends." I ended our story and auntie could not stop laughing. "You both are hilarious." Auntie said between fits of her laughter. "She calls you Casanova!" Auntie laughed again. "Common now auntie it is not funny. You should scold her and tell her to not call me that." I whined and that made auntie laugh harder.
"Okay okay." She said after a minute trying to control her laugher. "If she calls you Casanova in front of everyone! And what else does she call you? Ullu? Brainless?" There auntie started laughing again. "Like mother like daughter."
Auntie raised her eyebrow at me and I said it again, "Like mother like daughter. Your daughter too never leaves a stone unturned when she gets to tease me." I pouted and sat stubbornly. I thought auntie was on my side and now she is teasing me just like her cribber daughter. "I thought you were on my side!" I whined again.
"Only when she is around. When she is not then I get to tease you too." I looked at auntie in shock. "Oh now I know where Manvi got her genes from. She is just like you!"
"Like mother like daughter remember?" Auntie teased me again.
"Auntyyy." I whined for the umpteenth time.
"Okay fine. I'll make it up to you. If you want to annoy Manvi call her chipkali or nakchadi. Her grandfather calls her that and she hates it to the core." Auntie laughed some more. This is amazing! I can bond with auntie and learn more tricks to annoy Manvi. Oh this is going to be so much fun. "Auntie what else annoys her?" I asked excitedly.
Auntie looked around to make sure that no one was around. "Oh the littlest of things annoy her and then she'll charge at you like an enraged bull. Tell me what you know and I'll give you my list." Auntiewhispered.
Man Manvi's mom is so cool and fun. I wonder why she keeps complaining about how her mom is a total hitler and A control freak! "Auntie you are so cool. Why does Manvi keep complaining about you?" I asked curiously.
"Oh I can't show her this side of me. Her dad already pampers her and gives her everything she asks for. If I am not strict with her she will be out of control, not that she isn't already." Auntie rolled her eyes. Man this is freaky! Aunty is just like Manvi especially the eye rolling thing that auntie just did.
"Okay in my list the things that annoy Manvi are: if you tell her what to do, if you don't listen to her, if you hug her or show her that you care about her." Thinking some more I continued, "If you pay for her, you know like at restaurants and stuff she hates that too." I placed my finger on my chin, "Hmm she also gets annoyed if you call her names and thanks to you I know some more names to call her. She gets annoyed like hell if you are late even though she is never on time herself." I rolled my eyes at the last part and continued, "If you make plans with her and cancel it later that irks her too even though she ditches you half the time." "Oh yes she gets extremely mad when a guy hits on her. She thinks she is some boxing champ and can knock anybody out." I laughed remembering how she was about to kick a 260 lbs guy and I told auntie about it too. "Trust me auntie she thought she could knock him down. He was so freaking big even I was scared! I had to drag her out of there otherwise we would both get our asses kicked."
Auntie shook her head at the story. "That is my Manvi, careless and irrational. She never thinks before reacting. When she was in kindergarten she would fight with kids of middle school. We got a complaint from her day care on the first day itself. She slapped one of her classmates and we had to apologize to the kid's parents."
"She is one piece." We both said it together.
"You have quite a lot of ways to annoy her. I'll add some to your already long list." Auntie whispered and I listened carefully.
