Chapter 15, Soda to the rescue

Soda's P.O.V.

"JOHNNY CADE!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. It was 5:00 am, I was standing outside Johnny's house and I was livid. I can't believe he dumped my kid brother. And why? Because he was scared.  I could hear Johnny's feet on the floor as he ran to open the door, the door swung open Johnny ran out, before he could leave the front porch I was yelling at him. "WHAT THE HECK WERE YOU THINKING? DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MUCH YOU HURT HIM?" " I know" he answered me. "I'm real sorry Sodapop, I love him, and I wish it didn't have to be like this. But I had to protect him"  Johnny had been slowly walking toward me while saying this, he was right in front of me, I saw the tears in his eyes and felt my anger melt away. "I'm sorry for yelling Johnny" "I wish I could fix this" Johnny said. "I miss him so much" "Do you wanna go see him Johnnycake" "Yes" So we left to go back to my house so that Johnny could apoligize.
