I was sitting on my bed reading a book when Soda walked in. "Pony" he said softly "there's someone here to see you. "I don't want company" I mumbled, without looking up. "Trust me, you want to see him." Soda replied. I looked up "him?" "Hi Pony." Johnny said shyly as he entered my room. "I'm sorry, I know I hurt you. And I think I made a huge mistake." I was shocked, and I wanted to get up and run to him. But I couldn't. "No, honey. You didn't make a mistake. You did what you had to to protect both of us." "What are you saying?" Johnny's voice broke. The words I said next hurt me just as much as they hurt him. But he had broken his heart to protect me, and now it's my turn to protect him. "I'm saying, we can't get back together"
