"I'm saying, we can't get back together." Those words were like I had been punched in the stomach. "But Pony"- was all I could get out before my voice broke and tears started running down my face. "I'm sorry." He told me . "But you were right, it's not safe. We need to just be friends." "How can we just be friends?" I asked. "You were my first love, I can't just be friends with you again, I've loved you since we were kids." He took a step towards me. "We will figure it out, we have too, because I can't imagine my life without you Johnny." He crossed the room and pulled me into his arms. "Friends?" "Friends." I confirmed. He hugged me tighter and whispered in my ear. "I will always love you."
