"Love of your life? Aren't you the romantic. Are you ready, Hogwarts champion?" I asked him.

"Not at all, but I'm going to do it. I want to compete and bring the honor to Hogwarts, I know that I'm smart enough and I have the patience to think everything through." He said.

"I'm sure that you do, I'm all for it. I know for a fact that you would be a wonderful champion."

"See? You are the love of my life? Who else would talk to me like that?"

"If I'm not mistaken you have your eyes on another girl. Go get her, give her cute little notes and give her your time. Show her that she means something to you and you'll both be happy."

"I want the same thing for you, I want you to be happy. You haven't been smiling a lot lately which means you're not happy." He said softly.

"I will be, don't you worry about me." I answered.

We met up with Professor McGonagall in the entrance hall, where she pointed out several things for a few students to fix. Everything had to be perfect. Everyone went into the Great Hall and took their seats with perfect postures, something all the Heads of houses insisted upon.

"How do you reckon they're coming? The train?" Ron asked.

"I doubt it." Mione answered.

"How then? Broomsticks?" Harry asked looking up.

"I don't think so . . . not from that far away." I whispered.

"A Portkey? Or maybe they could Apparate, who knows what the laws are over those places where they come from." Ron said.

"You can't Apparate inside the Hogwarts grounds, how often do we have to tell you?" I asked Ron.

All of a sudden the doors flew open and a group of girls in blue robes and leotards ran in the Hall. All blonde, beautiful girls that were doing gymnastics all between the two middle tables. The last three people to walk in was the Headmaster of Beauxbatons who is an extremely large woman, sort of Hagrid's size and two special girls. They walked down the table and stopped in front of me.

"Madam Maxime, it is very nice to see you." I told the headmaster.

"Alaia, eet eez good to see you again." She said.

"Couzin, 'ow are you?" the blond girl next to her asked.

"Fleur, it's nice to see you again. I had a lot of fun this summer." I told her.

"I did too, I couldn't tell you zat I was coming. Madame Maxime said we could not." She said.

"Alo Ali." Fleur's sister Gabby said.

"Hello Gabby." I waved and winked at her.

"We 'ave to go, we will see you around." Madame Maxime said.

"See you soon." I answered.

Once they left I prepared myself for the onslaught of questions.

"How do you know her?"

"Do you hang out often?"

"She's not really your cousin?"

"Is she a veela?"

"Does that make you part veela?"

"You don't look a lot like her."

"You look a lot like her!"

The questions were reliably ridiculous and I was not going to answer any of them. My friends know better than to pester me with questions so they valiantly held them back, though I'm sure they'll ask me later.
