We scrambled in front of the fire immediately when we saw my uncle's head bobbing in front of us. Harry was a little excited over the entire situation still but I've been seeing things like this all of my life so I'm used to it.
"Uncle, how are you?" I asked quickly.
"Forget about me, how are you? You don't fool me one bit Alaia Mitchell, something's wrong and you're not telling me about it." He said.
"It's nothing, I've just been having weird dreams lately and I'm not sleeping well because of them so I'm a little cranky." I lied.
Well, it wasn't a complete lie – but it's not exactly the truth either. What he doesn't know won't hurt him and it won't stress me.
"What kind of dreams?" he asked seriously.
"I'm not sure because everything is blurry and I can't make anything out. That's what makes me grumpy." I said truthfully.
"If you remember anything-anything at all you must write to me about it. Promise me!" he said fiercely.
"Fine, I promise. I'll write to you if I recognize anything. Why? What do you know about my dreams?" I said softly.
"I'm not sure yet, things are happening around us and I'm not sure of anything right now. You must tell me if and when you recognize anything Alaia!"
The sudden fierceness in his voice startled me and Harry also. He either knows or suspects something which means there's a lot more to these dreams that I know of.
"Another question for you, have either of you seen Aviana?" he asked.
"Aunt Aviana? She's staying in the castle for the tournament? Why?" I asked curiously.
"I need you to take her a message."
"You told her that we helped you, didn't you." I said softly.
"I've loved that woman all of my life, tell her that I'll see her soon." he said softly.
With a smile, I said goodnight and goodbye so that Harry could have some alone time with his godfather. I can't believe I didn't realize sooner that Uncle Sirius would try to contact her while we were here. It's dangerous though so I hope he's careful about it.
Uncle Sirius was – he seemed startled himself when I mentioned my dreams. The adults in my life are keeping secrets from me and I can't help but wonder what the hell is going on. All of this makes me angry and I bottle it all in, I just hope I can control it this time. I don't want a repeat of what happened last time. I don't need that kind of situation happening with everything that's going on.
I had a lot on my mind when I went to sleep but I didn't have any dreams tonight. Now? Now I want to have those dreams. I need to understand what is going on in my life. These dreams, I have a feeling that they are only the beginning of a very big storm. The question is, will I be ready when it hits and will I be able to weather it?
Sunday morning Mione, Ginny and I went down to breakfast together. Gin likes to embarrass me about my relationship with her brother, she thinks it's funny to see me squirm but I'll get her back one day. Harry came down but he didn't eat much, he seemed preoccupied. Like his body was here but his mind wasn't with us. When we finished eating he wasted no time in pulling Mione and I away from the table and out of the castle to tell us about what he saw last night.
"Dragons? You have to deal with dragons now?" I shouted.
"Lower it would you? I don't think they heard you on the Durmstrang ship." Hermione said sharply.
"Dragons is the word anyway. Charlie mentioned something about wanting nesting mothers specifically." Harry added.
"That's not good, nesting mothers are more dangerous. They're very nasty things, especially since they're on hyper safety alert since they want to protect their dragon eggs. This thing with Karkaroff worries me though." I said.
