A few weeks later, it was coronation day for the 4 pevensies and I got the privilege to crown peter king, as his girlfriend and soon to be wife. He proposed to me a day before coronation and I instantly said yes because I love him so much. The day was brightly sunny and I stood in dark green dress with golden bits to match with peter and Arabella was crowning Edmund and she was wearing a dark grey dress with light grey pieces to match Edmund.
They all walked forward with Kian and dad in between them and I looked at peter he looked so handsome in his coronation outfit, I am so lucky I smiled widely at him while he grinned at me and then they all stopped in front of the steps and looked at the 4 thrones, soon to be 6, meant for them and they all smiled and walked up the steps and forward, to stand in front of their thrones. Ian was going to crown Susan while everlynn and mr tummus was going to crown lucy together
"I give you queen lucy, the valiant" Kian started by saying and the beavers, me, Arabella, Ian, everlynn and mr tummus walked forward, the beavers holding the crowns on a velvet cushion platform. Mr tumnus and everlynn took off the flowery design silver crown and placed it gently on Lucy's head and lucy was beaming at them both while they both smiled widely at her and nodded and walked back
"in the mid western wood, king Edmund the just" (I think, I'm sorry if it's wrong) Aslan said Arabella walked forward and I smiled at her and she placed the silver solid crown on top of Edmunds head
"the radiant southern sun, queen Susan the gentle" Kian said as Ian walked forward and grabbed the gold flowery crown and put it gently on Susan's head and now it's my time to shine
"and to the clear northern sky, I give you king peter, the magnificent" Aslan announced and I walked forward and grabbed the large golden crown gently and walked over to peter who bent down so I could put the crown on his head and I did so gently and he rises and gave me a cheeky wink and I walked away, blushing like mad, they all sat down on their thrones and looked proud of themselves
"once a king and queen of narnia, always a king and queen" Aslan said and we all started calling out our kings and queens name
"long live king peter! Long live king Edmund! Long live queen Susan! and Long live queen lucy!" Everyone then started cheering and clapping and then we went to the party area where all the fun began.
While I was dancing with Ian as a twin dance, we were laughing like we haven't been separated at all for all those years. He looks a lot older than me now though because I didn't age because my mind was waiting for peter but he grew up into a young man so now he looked more like an older brother more than anything. We then heard someone cough to see that it was dad and Kian
"sorry to but in but can we all have a talk?" They asked and we walked over to evie and Arabella and we all went onto the beach below Clair paravel and started to walk along the beach
"I understand that none of you will want to come with us this time while we go away again for a few months to check around that everything will be better now in narnia since the witch has finally been defeated but we would like you to do a few things while we are gone" Kian explained and looked at us while we smiled and nodded
"we understand that you Darcey are going to get married to peter in a few months and we will be back for that but be careful if you think about having children because there is always that possibility of him going back to England" dad said and I nodded
"I had already thought about that dad and was going to be cautious when the subject does come up" I explained and they nodded
"Arabella, we would like you to keep an eye on most things while we are gone, especially the kings and queens and their decisions, we would like you and Darcey to work on that together because obviously you two are closest with the kings and queens" Kian said while me and Arabella nodded while smiling at each other
"Ian, we would like you to be in control of the armies of Clair paravel and to be the kings and queens first port of call if anything needs to happen" Ian nodded and looked happy that he could finally get involved after so long of being in captive
"Everlynn, we would like you to be in control of the trips and guests coming into narnia, you are so kind and gentle so therefore we know that you will be perfect for the task and no one would think of hurting you because you are so young" evie nodded while smiling brightly
"and I know there is something Arabella and Darcey wanted to give you?" Kian asked us and we nodded and I walked in front of Ian while Arabella walked in front of evie
"well since you too have matured very quickly and helped us through the roughest of times we have decided to give you these" I started and handed Ian a necklace gem like ours but the colour was blue and Arabella gave evie a purple one and they gasped in shock as we put the necklaces on for them
"we had these personally made to your favourite colours" Arabella said and they both hugged us and thanked us as we nodded
"right we should be off, we will be back for the wedding and don't mess up the kingdom too much by the time we get back" dad said jokingly while we looked at him shocked and laughed also
"Darcey? A quick word please" dad said and I began to walk with him on the edge of the beach and then he stopped and sighed and looked at me finally
"I am sorry dear one" he said finally and I looked at him confused, waiting for him to continue
"For all those years, since your mother died, I made you feel like you wasn't good enough and that I didn't love you like I did the other 2" he said snd I looked at him and shook my head but he gave me a look of disbelief and I looked at the sand while he chuckled lightly, knowing that he was right
"And then I nearly lost you in that battle against the witch because of all that I did wrong. I'm so sorry little one. You were my first child and I didn't want to loose you like I lost your mother and I nearly did" dad rambled but I just hugged his main and buried my head in it like I used to when I was younger
"It wasn't your fault dad. I just wanted to make you and mom proud all the time and just felt the worst when I didn't. I love you and I don't want to loose you like I lost mum" I said and he closed his eyes and curled into me and then we finally let go
"I'll see you on your wedding week" he said and I smiled and nodded
"I'll see you then" I replied and walked back over to the other three and waved as they slowly walked away then i looked up to the balcony to see the pevensies and mr tumnus looking down quite sad that Aslan and Kian had just left, so I had a great idea.
I slowly walked over to Ian and he thought nothing of it until I pushed him into the sea but sadly he didn't fall over and I looked to see all the pevensies and mr tumnus, especially lucy and peter laughing at us. I looked back at Ian and he gave me the look and I took off my shoes very quickly and ran away from Ian as he ran after me and I decided the best was I was going to get away was to teleport so I jumped and opened one as I walked onto the balcony and peter smirked at me and walked over to me
"well that wasn't very nice was it?" He asked and I shook my head but he laughed and grabbed my waist and leaned into kiss me then the next thing I knew, me and peter were in the sea while Ian was laughing and lying on the floor on the beach I looked up and gave him a big glare and said
"id run if I was you little brother"I warned and he looked at me worried then ran as I sprinted after him. I was always a quicker runner than him so caught up easily and smacked him around the back of the head while smiling.
We were going to be just fine
