The Monster

Eleven POV

I felt a familiar feeling in my stomach when i saw a familiar place i was in.
The upside down.
The walls were coated with gooey webs and slug like creatures. The air was cold and mild and there was poisonous white flakes flying around every corner.
"WILL!" I screamed as loud as i possibly could.
thoughts raced through my head.
Why me? Why again? What does the mind flayer want from me!? I cant look around without breaking down. Theres no hope in here. Theres no getting out.
NO!!
I have to trust Will. He can get me out of here. I know he can. I trust him.
Suddenly i saw a huge clouded monster Breaking through the roof of Will's upside down room.
I looked at it with fear and it swallowed me into its depths sucking me into itself.
I screamed and screamed and i couldn't stop.
Suddenly the lights flickered back in and i was in the same room as Will. He ran to me crying and hugged me tightly.
I blinked confused, feeling like something was added to me, like i gained a new part of myself, only that it wasn't apart of me, it was something else. Something bigger and stronger.
The room went black.

Will POV

The lights flared back on and Eleven stood there motionless. Suddenly she fell to the ground. I ran over to her and hugged her, believing for the slightest moment that i'd never see her again. I wanted to hold Eleven for forever, or as long as i could.
"MOM!" i screamed, my voice cracking.
She came barreling into my room, and looked down at Eleven in my arms.
She took one look at the situation, and ran back to the living room to get her keys and start the car to go to the hospital.
She carried Eleven to the car.
...
Eleven was unconscious the whole ride to the hospital.
My mom left the room so it was only Eleven and i together.
She eventually woke up, and her hazel eyes looked beaten and tired.
"Who are you?" She said softly.
"Its me, Will." i replied suspiciously.
She blinked at me and looked up at the blood machine around her.
She tried to get up, looking confused, and not herself.
"Hey, Eleven stop! what are you doing?!" i shouted.
She silently ignored me.
After struggling for about a minute, she let go and fell back on the bed giving up
"Where am i?" She asked aggressively.
"The hospital." i said frowning.
She stopped moving and looked me straight in the eye. i could feel my face burning.
"Eleven." i grabbed her shoulders.
"What happened?" i finished.
She looked at me and suddenly her eyes slightly changed color. They went from being hazel green to completely brown. It happened very quickly, but it was noticeable.
"Will!" She yelled hugging me tightly.
I was surprised, but i hugged back.
She pulled back looking at me straight in my eyes.
"I felt it." She said.
"I could feel it taking over my body." she said softly, her voice cracking slightly.
"I could feel it-"
"Everywhere." We said together, eye to eye.
...
"Me too." i said looking down at my hands getting teary eyed
"I tried to make it go away. Like Bob... Uh, someone told me to. But it was different. It wasn't some stupid clown. It was a massive monster coming for me, and ONLY me. It couldn't hear me screaming 'go away'. It would only stop when it got what it wanted." i said.
"What does it want?" Eleven said, eyes red from the crying.
"Our world." We said at the same time, looking up from our hands.
"The upside down-" Eleven started.
"Is a parallel to our world." i said finishing her sentence.
"The monster must be using us to-"
"Get into the right side up." Eleven finished.
"But why?" i asked openly, confused.
We looked at each other, cluelessly. Neither of us had any idea, and if the monster was really inside her now, she wouldn't say why.
She looked sleepy, so i left the room to let her rest.
I had some thinking to do.
