The Girl

Eleven POV

We got to the Hawkins Laboratory about 5 minutes later. It was almost 3:16 PM, and the sun was in the middle of the sky.
As soon as i stepped foot onto the pavement where the lab was located, thoughts scrambled through my head. Images. Visions. Pain.
I stood on the elevator with Hopper. A gun in his hand, my powers in mine, we fought to close the gate. Rage pulled through me, and memories drowned in my head of my wounds that haven't been healed. Memories of papa and the bath. Memories of getting pulled away from papa with two guards while i was screaming his name. I used these, and my undying rage to push me to keep on closing the gate.
It worked.
"Eleven? Are you okay?" i heard a soft voice call. Like Will's.
I nodded not completely knowing who had asked, and i walked forward.
The others trailed behind me and soon enough we were at the back window of the lab.
Lucas took the bat from his backpack and swung at the window with all of his strength.
There was a small crack, but it didn't open.
"Let me try." Dustin insisted.
He took the bat from Lucas and swung it as hard as he could. The crack widened a few centimeters, still not budging much at all.
"Give it to me Losers." Max demanded, grabbing the bat from Dustin's hands.
He gave her a playfully hurt look, and she smacked the window with the bat, shattering it to pieces.
She handed the bat back to Lucas without looking at him, and sarcastically smiled to Dustin.
"Show off." Dustin said getting ready to go through the window.
Mike was staring at Max like he was lovestruck, and quickly stopped when he saw that i was watching him.
I wish Will would look at me like that...
What am i thinking?
Will doesn't like me.. Our kiss was an accident. He knows it. I do too.
Maybe one day he will like me...
almost everyone was through the window, except Will and I.
"Cmon! They're onto us!" Mike whisper-yelled.
I listened carefully, and i could hear the voices of men talking.
"Did you hear that? What was that sound?" The voices spoke.
I quickly walked in through the window, and Will walked in after me. All of us froze in our stances as we heard footsteps coming closer.
"Who's there?" the voices shouted.
I looked to the side and saw small cubbies. Big enough for children to fit into. I slowly pointed to them, and all the kids nodded.
...
I heard the footsteps come closer and closer until the men whispered to each other.
"Its probably just that little girl again."
Little girl? What little girl?
"Sarah? The chiefs daughter?"
"Yeah, she must've tried to escape again."
"We cant let her escape, she is number 10! We already lost 11."
"Yeah, your right. Lets go find her then."
Their footsteps trailed away until there wasn't anymore voices, and it was dead silent on the last floor of the lab.
I could feel my chest tightening, and my breathing was getting fast.
...
Hoppers daughter isn't dead.
Shes a number.
They faked her death.
"I think its safe to talk now." Mike interrupted my thoughts.
"Did you hear them guys? I didn't know the Chief had a daughter." Will spoke.
"And that she is a number like Eleven." Lucas said looking at me.
I could feel all of their eyes on me, until i broke the silence.
"We need to find the parents. Come on."
I slowly walked up the stairs to the second floor. The whole party was trailing behind me.
I heard muffled voices from the room where the Gate to the upside down used to be.
I signaled for the group to come in, and they followed me to the big lab unfolding doors.
I took a deep breath, and let out all of my fear and previous painful memories.
I pressed the button without thinking, and suddenly a huge beeping noise started from the speakers.
"Its a finger print detector!" Dustin shouted, panicking.
...
Suddenly men surrounded us with tasers and guns in their hands.
I quickly resorted to my powers.
I screamed at the top of my lungs, and all the men fell to the ground, bleeding tremendously.
I felt dizzy, and i fell over,
the whole room turning black.

Will POV

Eleven fell into my arms, her nose bleeding, and her skin looking a purplish pale color.
I looked at the others with a panicked face.
"Take the mans finger and use it to open the door!" Lucas screamed at Mike.
Mike and Dustin picked the dead man off the ground, and used his finger for the detector button.
The noise stopped, and the doors unfolded open.
We walked in.
Other men were running after us, but the door shut on them.
"Lock it, lock it!!!" Dustin screamed.
Lucas switched the flip, locking the doors so the men couldn't come in.
As soon as i turned around,
i couldn't believe my eyes...
