8. Dream Escape

DREAM ESCAPE

My tears are streaming down my face,
When I saw you fighting for your last breathe.

I took and hold your hand tight,
And telling you that you need to fight.

I cried out loud when you started closing your eyes,
I cried more when I saw how tears fell from your eyes.

"Please, hold on," I beg.
And burst into tears when you could hardly breathe.

You placed your hands on my cheeks,
Trying to wipe and dry my tears.

"I know you're strong without me," You said with your eyes closed.
I just shook my head while crying 'coz I couldn't talk.

"Don't leave me please," I once beg.
And my body trembles when you didn't responded.

I totally burst out into tears and shivers,
Thinking that you're gone makes me weak and helpless.

Suddenly, I felt like somebody was shaking me.
I was awakened and my breathings became heavy.

I got shocked and felt like I've escaped,
Escaped from somewhere I couldn't even remember.

Yet, my eyes widen when I saw you sitting beside me,
And you were looking at me worriedly.

I couldn't help but to embraced you.
'Coz I thought I couldn't able to have the sight of you.

"Don't leave me Mom," I cried endlessly.
"Of course I won't leave you because I love you," You said smilingly.

This time, you wiped my tears for real.
And saying, "Don't cry. You're just having a bad dream."
