Yi Chen made her way to the table she normally sits at with her friends and saw Anh Ling sitting there looking uncomfortable while looking around like a lost kitten. It was adorable and Yi Chen was not the only one who thought so, Li Ru Xian had just entered the cafeteria when he saw Anh Ling adorably sitting there waiting for someone. But before he could get there he sees someone, a male to be precise sitting a seat away from him, Anh Ling flashed that male a smile and continued to fidget, Ru Xian was annoyed and wanted to permanently remove such a rival from Anh Ling's presence.

Yi Chen who was watching Ru Xian did not want him to ruin her ship before it even set sail so before he could go and pick a fight with He Jiang who was sitting a seat away from Anh Ling and give a bad impression of himself to him(Anh Ling), Yi Chen skipped to sit in the next to He Jiang while smiling like she had won the world's biggest lottery. Anh Ling calmed down a little with her there and gave her the same smile she gave to He Jiang making Ru Xian see that they were all just friends. He calmed himself down and berated himself for acting immaturely in this situation.

He composed himself and walked calmly towards Anh Ling's table. "Can I sit with you guys?" Was what Yi Chen needed to make Anh Ling and Ru Xian known to each other. Anh Ling just blushed while Yi Chen nodded enthusiastically making He Jiang worried about her having neck pains. Ru Xian sat down smoothly next to Anh Ling and touched her hand making her gasp and look at him with wide eyes. "I do believe we have met before" Ru Xian said while looking at Anh Ling. 

'Eh! Ru Xian I didn't give you this opportunity for you to destroy it over a sorry excuse of a pickup line. I gave you the chance put some work in it for my ship to sail, you idiot!' Yi Chen berated him in her mind while tightly gripping the fork in her hand.

"Y-y-yes i-it was at the beach, t-thank you for helping me at that time" Anh Ling replied while spacing out and thinking about what happened between her and her ex. Before Ru Xian could comfort him a laughing blond girl walked by their table while casually kissing a boy they assumed to be her boyfriend on the cheek. Nobody at their table said a word or saw the look of victory in the blond's eyes except for Yi Chen because they were all looking at Anh Ling who looks like she would have a mental breakdown any time now. 

'Baobao, tell me who those two are and why their action caused my cute Ling'er to cry. I know you will tell me I promised Ling'er I would wait until she was ready to tell me but I need to know in order for my ship to sail.'

Anh Ling knew she had to tell them the reason why she was close to crying, she resolved her decision when she saw looked at Ru Xian who nodded his support to whatever decision she makes. "He was m-m-my boyfriend, we dated for about two years but he dumped me for t-t-that blondie because she was m-m-more p-pretty than m-me" Anh Ling said while fiddling with her fingers. Ru Xian hugged him while saying calm and soothing words in his ears, Yi Chen would have cooed and taken pictures if not for the situation she just listened to. Yi Chen wanted to know the whole situation because it did not seem like a peaceful breakup like there was even something like that, but Anh Ling seemed soo... broken.
