Back at the ball, every pack member from Crimson Moon Pack turned to Arisa and asked the question that has been bothering everything there - like the elephant in the room. "B-brother!!! since when did you become the wolf king's sister!" Arisa looked at them and shrugged. "Probably on the day I was born... but ma keeps saying I was found under a bridge so on that day? I don't know. It doesn't matter because you guys will always be my family, along with my parents"

"You're right Ari you will always be a member of Crimson Moon Pack no matter what," Alpha Aidaen said and proceeded to hug Arisa. What happened next was not only a surprise to Arisa and everyone at the ball but to Aidaen due to certain events in his life that he will rather forget.

"Mate?" Arisa said... no asked Aidaen who was as shocked and confused as she was.

"That's not possible," Aidaen said and detangled. He moved away and whispered brokenly "I-I it can't be possible not... not after Lily... not after her... n-no... E-excuse me" With that Aidaen run for the exit and didn't even look back. Arisa stood dumbfounded and sad. "Take heart* Arisa. Lily is still a fresh wound for him. You just have to slowly heal that wound and be there for him no matter what." Odyssey told Arisa and he put his arms around her shoulders as a sign of comfort.

"Ok... No matter what he does he won't shake me off. I am stuck to him like white on rice. He is my mate... I just hope he accepts me I don't want to replace Lily I just want... I want my mate dad... just my mate." After Arisa said that she dissolved into a crying fit living everyone sad. With that Odyssey concluded the ball and every member of all the packs went to their designated rooms with a lot to think about.

The next morning was an awkward affair. Alpha Aidaen decided to skip breakfast and head to Lily tombstone, while Draco- I mean Draconis and Vera were all over each other trying their best to accustom the fact that they were mates. Mason was in charge of the pack while Allysia was being hospitable to everyone in hopes of getting them situated and then going to their home packs.

After breakfast, most of the Alpha's from different packs decided to go to their packs and gathered themselves to go. Odyssey and Lily decided to stay for two weeks to help Arisa out.

"Where is he?! What if h-he does something to himself? I-I-I have to find him!" Arisa said as he headed for the forest. "Wait, Ari! Let me go with you!" Lily said while following Arisa. "Don't follow her, Lily she has to do this by herself," Odyssey said while looking at Lily in the eyes. 

Arisa followed the scent of her distressed mate and found Aidaen hunched over a tombstone with the inscription "Lily Rivoli, from 1980 - 2015, Was loved by her mate, Aidaen, and adored by her pack, Crimson Moon Pack." Arisa walked towards him only to hear him trying to stifle his sobs. 

"Is she the reason why you wouldn't give me - us a chance. I-I know you love her and you will never love me like that but can you please look at me as your mate. I don't want to replace her I-I just want a quarter of the love you had for her. I know I don't deserve you but please let me have that chance to have a mate. I just want you to be happy" Arisa said while slowly backing away.

"No no no! Don't go! I am sorry. I-I don't know what to do. It feels weird to have a mate again after 4 years of grieving. I don't know if I can be the best mate for you. You did so much for me and the pack but all you got for a mate is a broken person. You deserve more than this - more than me. You deserve someone who will take care of you and spoil you rotten not someone who doesn't know the first thing when comes to treating a lady. Not someone whose mate died because he couldn't protect her and their unborn child. You deserve more than me Arisa... More than me." Aidaen said while holding Arisa's face in the palm of his hands.

"You can't tell me what I need. I just need you. Want you." With that, Arisa crashed her lips Aidaen's lips and kissed him with abandon and with promises of more to come.

"I am happy I got you as a mate... Mine... All mine."

Hell-o, my lovelies, Author-sama desu. I am sorry I have not updated in a long time but I had to prepare for my end of year tests and prom, which was last weak Saturday.
