(Night)
I woke up and rub my eyes. "Sasuke!" He didn't answer. I got up and went to the kitchen. "Strange, I thought he would be here." I pout and cross my arms, "where did he go? I'll go to work tomorrow. My real body must be suffering from not eating." For the spirits to hear.
Mikoto walks up to me, "are you okay?"
I nodded, "yeah, I have up to the next three days left in this timeline. My past me is coming soon."
...
(Next day)
Sasuke didn't show up all day. Fugaku has told me that he went on a mission. So, I went to work and the Hokage stops in front of me. "So, you live with Sasuke?"
I blush and looked to the side, "you don't have to word it like that."
He chuckles a little. "Well, he was kind enough to tell me you were sick. How are you feeling?"
I looked at him. "He did?" I smile. "That was sweet of him. I feel better than before, thank you for allowing me to rest."
...
I clean up happily knowing Sasuke did that very kind gesture. I hug the mop and thought about the future. I looked to the side.
...
I went home after a long day from work, I went to go do some shopping since Sasuke doesn't have any. After that, I went inside and found Sasuke standing in the living room scratching his head.
A smile passes my lips as I drop the bags on the floor, causing him to turn around to face me. I run towards him as I embrace him. "I miss you." I kiss his cheek.
He didn't hug me back and felt uneasy about the hug since he did not hug me, so I ended up letting go as I kept my smile like an idiot.
"How was your trip? Are you okay? Are you hurt, sick?" I grab his cheeks and check his forehead.
I touch my forehead with my other hand. He was a little warmer than me. I notice his cheeks were pink.
"You have a little fever. It's time for you to get some rest get to your bedroom. I'll bring your food to your bedroom. First, go take a shower. Come on..."
"You aren't my mom."
I pout, "no, I am not. I am your friend. This friend is worried about you." I cross my arms. "Go take a shower and I'll watch your clothes. Go on. I'll start making your food."
I smile as I turn around to grab the bags that I drop. Once I picked them up, I went straight to the kitchen. "Come on, Sasuke. I'll make some chicken soup and fresh bread."
...
Once it was done, I cut the bread into pieces. I place the bread in a cute little brown bowl and pour some soup into a big bowl. I place it on top of the table along with one bowl of soup. Sasuke comes out of the room. I turn my head towards him. "I thought I was going to feed you in your room."
He walks up to me and took a seat. "I'm not sick." I took a seat in front of him. I smile as I looked at him, grabbing a spoon. We said thanks. "Sasuke, how was your trip?"
Sasuke blew on the hot soup that was on the spoon saying nothing to me. I chuckle a little making him stop to look me.
"I'm glad that you had fun. It beats staying in the house all day. I hope you learned from the village. You know, it's better if you learn from others, it helps you get stronger. How about in two days, if you feel better. I get to train you this time around. We get to fight a little."
"Whatever." He eats his soup. I just stare at him while he ate.
...
(Moments later)
I enjoyed my time with him. I spoke what was going on around the village. "Do you want third?"
"No. I'm full."
I smile a little. "It's nice to have you back." I got up. "It's time again to fall asleep. I'll clean up, go to sleep."
He gets up and walks into his bedroom. I wash the dishes and grab my clothes that were on top of the sofa. I grab the formal clothes that I came with and went to the bathroom. I went back to my timeline. I woke up and next to me was older Sasuke. "Did it happen?" I asked.
"Yeah. You cook me some soup?"
I smile, "I'm hungry, what is there to eat?" I sat up straight, "also, how long I was out cold?"
"For a day."
I smile and grab his cheek. "I miss you." I pulled him into a hug. "I miss the old good days," Sasuke says nothing. "Being the last two from this world isn't too bad, Sasuke. I mean, we have a lot of time to ourselves until it's fixed. I hope my letter helps her." I pulled away and sat on the bed. I put my legs up against my chest. "I hope we get to change the future together, Sasuke."
...
(Sasuke)
I woke up the next day, to find her nowhere and not even a letter telling me where she went to. Some knocks on the door while I was cooking. I turn off the stove and headed to open the door. I put on my shoes and open the door to see Night. I was kind of happy to see her.
She smiles, "hello." I notice she was wearing different clothes. Night was wearing a blue racerback tank top with some blue shorts up to her knees.
I cross my arms, "where have you been this morning?"
She seems to confuse. "What do you mean?"
"Whatever." I turn around and remove my shoes as I walk towards my kitchen. She came in.
Once inside the kitchen, I started to cook again. I turn my head to see her standing in the living room and soon took a seat on the sofa.
I made food for us since she left early and didn't seem she had not eaten anything. I set up the table and made everything. I walked to the living room. "Did you eat anything?"
"No, I haven't as yet. I'll eat along with you." Night stand up. I turn around to go to the table that was in the kitchen. We sat across each other and started to eat after giving thanks.
I stop to realize this what the first time she would eat in front of me. She finishes a little faster than me, "thank you for the food... Your name?"
"What do you mean?" I got up.
"Night Moon, thank you for the food. I came here since the spirits told me too."
"What spirits?"
"I could see spirits from the other world." She stands up. "They said, I was here not too long ago, but I wasn't. It seems something has trouble the future that I came to you first."
