Anna's P.o.v

I woke up and got dressed. (pic to the side). I went downstairs and made a bowl of cereal and got my backpack. Jc came downstairs.

"Hey honey bae. Ok I want you to take this." he said handing me a small pink pill. I popped it my mouth and drank some milk from my cereal.

Trevor came downstairs and we left. We talked to Skylynn and Hayes. The bus came then we got on. Then Kylie and Zoë got on. We all talked until we got to school. We went into our classroom

I saw Annie and Renee. "Hi guys." I said setting down my backpack. "Guys, I'm moving away." Renee cried.

"Wait, when are you leaving?" I asked almost tearing up. "Friday." She said crying more. We all hugged her.

"The court won't be the same without you."Skylynn said crying.

"I know, but my daddy got a new job in New York. I don't want to leave you guys." She sobbed in my shoulder.

"If I never hear back from you, I want you to have this." I pulled out a small stuffed Giraffe. "It smells like vanilla because me and Kian were making cupcakes and spilled vanilla on it by accident."

"Thank you Anna." She said hugging me harder.

Ricky came and picked me up and we went and got frozen yogurt.We talked for a while then went to the park.

"Ricky?" I asked holding my Pumpkin Spice yogurt.

"Yes little nugget?"He said taking a bite of his yogurt.

"My best friend is leaving for New York because her dad got a new job. What do I do?"I asked twirling my spoon in my yogurt.

"Make the most of your time with her like what you are doing with me and the boys." He said.

We went home and I went outside with Checkers. She comforted me by licking my face.

I had to go inside for dinner. We had spaghetti. I sat quietly and ate my food. When I was done I excused myself and put my dish in the sink and went upstairs.

I took a shower and got dressed in my ice cream pjs. I sat in bed with checkers and stroked my stuffed monkey's ear.

I started feeling bad because I didn't hangout with Renee as much as I did with Skylynn and Annie. I wanted to just forget about this whole thing, but Renee is my best friend.

"Checkers what do I do?"I asked.

She barked. "Checkers why is this so hard to think about? Renee is my best friend. I shouldn't let a move get in between our friendship. " I shoved a pillow in my face and screamed.

All the boys came into my room. "Why is this so hard for me!" I cried into the pillow. I started coughing. Connor rubbed my back.

"What is so hard for you baby banana?" He asked.

"Renee is moving to New York at the end of the week. I don't want her to leave!" I said coughing more.

"Mini munchkin you look sick."Kian said putting his hand up to my forehead.

"I'm not sick!"I cried even more.

"I will go get the thermometer." Sam said.

"No!" I sobbed more. "I can't be sick! I have to make the most of my time with Renee!"

Sam came back and put the thermometer in my mouth.

Jc pulled it out. "Honey bae it says '103' you aren't doing well. You are gonna have to stay home from school tomorrow."
