Connor's P.O.V.
"So Anna I've noticed, your pretty skinny. Umm how much do you weigh?" She was drawing a duck. "Well I'm not sure. The orphanage didn't have a scale. Miss Jane,ooh she was a mean lady." She said returning to her drawing. I walked over to the counter "What did she do to you guys?" Anna looked up and grabbed the brown crayon."She wouldn't let me eat on certain days because I was naughty." Anna? naughty? " One day I was exploring the orphanage, it was huge, anyways I went into the closet, it had a big set of stairs. So I climbed them, when I got to the top I saw something, weird,scary,breathtaking. I ran down the stairs and I walked out of the closet. Miss Jane saw me and then she..." Anna lifted her shirt up and I saw something just as she described. A scar from her belly button to her upper rib cage. "Connor she cut me. It hurt so bad," tears were brewing in her eyes." I wasn't allowed to eat that whole week. I don't exactly remember what I saw up there but boy it made consequences!"
"Anna, I want you to know that me and the boys, we are your protectors." I kissed her on the head. "Let's go get your bag,okay?" she got on my back and we brought her bag in, walked upstairs. The boys should be done in her room setting it all up. I put Anna down and told her to close her eyes. I walked in and saw a pink room with a white carpet and teal hand print hearts on the walls. She is gonna love it! I walked out and guided her in to hear her squeal with excitement. "Connor? Can I sleep in your room tonight?" Anna asked looking at me. I looked down and squeezed her hand, "Yes, yes you can." We put away her clothes and walked down stairs.
Anna's P.O.V.
I think Connor is a good parent. As we went down stairs into the kitchen he asked,"Wanna Arizona Anna?" I looked at him puzzled "GUYS GET DOWN HERE QUICK!" Connor screamed. 5 pairs of footsteps raced into the kitchen. "Anna doesn't know what Arizona." I heard gasps. I giggled. "What is it, well I know it's a state, but why would I want a state?"
Sam said, "okay you know what Taco Bell and pizza are right?" I looked at him, what were these foreign words, "Umm no." I looked at Ricky and he said, "Gurl, for lunch were havin' pizza, and for dinna, were havin' Taco Bell!"
I looked at him "Ok sassy pants." Jc laughed "You just woke...RICKAY MANAJ!!" I giggled "You wanna know what we should to? HAVE A PRANK WAR!!"
"OK, what ever floats your boat honey bae," Jc said, "LET THE FAMES BEGIN!!
