Hinata is still wondering, will she ever find happiness knowing that her long time crush, Naruto Uzumaki already have a family now.
One fine day, when she arrived home, a surprising news is waiting for her.... He's a Uchiha?? I'm the mother?? When...
A group of kids are circling in the backyard, chanting Inojin name. The adults are nearing them including the Hyuga pair, curious of what is happening.
"So, who are you? Your eyes are known for their notorious powers. Never seen you around before." Ask Inojin readying his fighting stance.
"Heh. I'm Arata Uchiha. I assume you're Inojin, the birthday boy. Well, I don't have a present for you but..if you like combat, then I'm happy to show you some moves." Said Arata proudly resting both his hands on the waist.
This gonna be the greatest birthday ever. Inojin smiled while ready for a little showdown. Around them, friends are cheering and rooting causing more and more guest to gather round. "Hey Hinata, isn't that Arata?" Neiji pointing on the right side of the backyard. Hinata gasp hurrying passing through the excited guest. OH NO NO NO. THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING. Hinata voice drown among the cheering. She called out to Arata several times but in no vain. Not knowing what to do, Hinata wishing on her lucky star, hoping no one will get hurt tonight.
Inojin VS Arata
Assuming his opponent was a strong one, Inojin is going all out, using his ninjutsu, he summoned a super beast from his scroll. The beast lunged forward attacking Arata. He managed to dodge but his pants were tore by the beast sharp claw. Wow, that was close. Arata thought.
It's time for a counterattack. Arata jump backward to give him some space between the super beast, then made a shadow clone of himself. Alright clone, let's show this beast what we have. Raiton Chidori! Both Arata is charging towards the beast but it missed. The beast crawl away dodging the attack with amazing speed.
Not bad, praised Inojin smiling. Inojin jumped to the back of the super beast and was ready to attack. Go! With a single command, the beast moves forward seeking the enemy. Arata dodge, thinking fast, still in mid air, he decided to fire back with Katon Fireballs. The attack was successful, there were bits of white clouds like shape before the beast disappeared.
The crowd cheers as the fight finished. Hinata was relieved that the fight ended with no injuries. Among the crowd, she could hear the guest complimenting Arata. "Isn't that kid amazing Hinata, I wonder who's kid is that." Hinata startled by the sudden conversation and look up. Uh-yeah, he's good at fighting. Reply Hinata to Sakura.
That's the kid..that day with Sasuke and Hinata. What is their connection.. - Naruto thought hard, fade lines were visible in his forehead.
Oh man, I'm hungry after all that fighting. I better grab something to eat before there's none left. Arata walk happily to the food station. He filled his plate with some sushi, dumplings, roasted duck and fried rice. Since he doesn't know any adults there, he decided to sit on an unoccupied table. Sitting with strangers would just make him nervous.
Hinata walks up towards Arata and grab a sit beside him. Hey, you did great just now. Hinata smiled, messing with the child hair. "Oh mom, quit it. Oopss, I mean, stop it lady!" Looking around him, Arata was lucky no one was near him at that time. Hinata. Can we join you? A voice across the room shouted. Looking up, Hinata felt her stomach flutter making her feel uncomfortable. It was Neiji and Naruto, she wouldn't mind if it was just her cousin, but Naruto...
Hiding her anxiety, she forced a wide smile. Before they reach them, Arata frantically shaking Hinata arms, there was a worried expression on his face, what should I call you mom? What if they ask me things. Holding his hands, Hinata smile reassuring him that everything is fine. Just call me oneesan, I'll help you with the rest.
Neiji sat down beside Hinata while Naruto beside the kid.
Naruto: hey kid, you did really good just now. You have some impressive skills.
Arata: eh emm, thank you err... (Arata paused staring at Naruto)
Naruto: ahh right! I haven't introduce myself. I'm Naruto.
Arata: thank you for the compliment Naruto-sama.
Naruto returned him with a wide grin.
Neiji: so Naruto, how are you? It's been a long time since we last talked.
Naruto: Oh I'm fine. Sakura and the kids are very heart warming. I could never stay mad or stressed when they're around.
Upon hearing this, Hinata heart sank a little bit deeper. It hurts as if a knife pierce right through her heart. Keeping it together, she kept calm, her gaze not leaving the table.
Neiji: That's... good... Not everyone had their dream come true... some just more...complicated.
Naruto: how about you Hinata-chan? I saw you and Sasuke hanging out the other day. Is there something going on? Hehe
Hinata: what? Ohh no, no Naruto-kun. We were just friends.
Arata: no they're not. Oneesan and Sasuke are a thing.
Hinata was flustered, looking down she try to hide her blushing pink cheek. Naruto and Neiji exchange gaze before closing in to Arata, wanting to dig more information from the boy.
Arata what are you talking bout! Stop spreading rumors please. Hinata pressured Arata before the duo could influence him to talk more. In the midst of interrogation, a familiar voice broke out. "Guys, there you are. Come on, let's assemble in the living room. Grab a partner cause it's dancing time.
