We had been at trumpkins place for 300 years now. Three hundred YEARS. Ian and Amelia had moved into the burrow of the tree next to have 3 children, one boy and twins who were a boy and a girl whose names were willow and Noah while the older boys name was Archie but he was adopted and only me, Ian, Amelia and Arabella knew who the real parents were, me and peter. That was the thing I had to tell him that day that he left but I knew Archie would never understand about it all so me and Ian made the agreement that he would be his 'father' until peter came back so we could explain it to Archie. they lived in a little tree while next to them me, Arabella and evie still lived at trumkins place. Trumkin had accepted us as soon as we had moved in and we told them about how the castle had been attacked and that peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy had gone home but during that conversation, me and Arabella had to go for a walk and take a breather because we were still upset that they had left without a second thought to us and Arabella got quite angry about it and sometimes throws stuff to calm her down but we can't be too mad at them. They would've had to go home at some point and if we had been kept away from our house for so long, we would've liked to go back also.
We were sat down for dinner when we heard something very strange outside
"what the hell was that?" I asked as we all looked towards the door
"I think we should go look, see what it is?" Arabella asked and me, trumkin and nufflehead nodded our heads and I looked at evie
"you missy, stay here" I demanded and pointed my finger at her and stood up about to walk out of the house
"but.." she started and I sat back down and turned to her and put my hands on my hips and gave her a look like she was still young and didn't look older than me but I was still older tan her
"no buts evie, I'm not having you hurt, you may look older than me but you are still my little sister so stay. Here" I said and she sighed, defeated and nodded slowly, so we all went to investigate as well as Ian and Archie, as he was around 15 now, he wanted to go with us and would take no for an answer. A lot like me and peter when we was together and doing things like this. We all went to go and investigate and we saw the prince of the telmarines was right in front of us and I went straight for him but he grabbed Susan's horn off me and went to blow it as I screamed
"no!" But it was too late, the familiar sound rang through the whole of the wood while telmerine soldiers caught up with him and grabbed Archie and Arabella while Amelia held Ian back while screaming for Archie but I looked at them and screamed
"I'll look after him!" And Ian looked at me, shocked and tried to get out of Amelia's grasp
"Darcey no!" He shouted but I ran straight to the telmarines and they grabbed me, Arabella, trumkin and Archie and then we were covered with a cloth so we could see was darkness covering us all.
We had ridden for a while now but didn't know hoe long exactly but we we came to a sudden stop but the cloth was not uncovered from where I and Archie was and I grabbed his hand so He knew that I was there
"Darcey?" He asked and I looked at him in the darkness and winced that he called me by my first name and not wanted I wanted him to call me
"yes Archie?" I said and he pulled our hands up and looked at the silver ring on the finger next to my pinkie, better known as my wedding ring.
"I don't rember you being married" he said confused and I looked at him and chuckled lightly in the darkness
"well Archie, a long time ago I was married to the high king peter I told you about,then he went home and I haven't seen him since" I said sadly as I sudden tear rolled down my face and I wiped it away with the back of my head before Archie saw it
"don't worry Darcey we will find him one day" he reassured me and I smiled then we heard a man talking and I shushed Archie and he hid in my side and I cradled his head close to me
"then what is it?" We heard the man ask then we were welcomed into the light where we looked at the current king of the telmarines and I squeezed Archie's hand and he hid his head more into my side while I just glared at the man in front of us, I also looked over to see Arabella and trumkin together which made me sigh in relief, they were fine. Sort of
"impossible" he whispered and stepped closer to me and Archie and he looked at me then Archie then back at me as I glared more at him
"you better believe it" i snarled and looked at him menacingly. He looked to his soldier and they stared at each other for a few minutes and then the 'king' nodded and we were taken of the horses and led away from the stables and was then bound separately and had a gag and then we were taken somewhere within the castle and I looked back every so often to see that armadaus was still behind me and I'd give him a reassuring look to tell him that it will be fine. We where then in front of a door to what I expect a hall and we stood there for a few moments and I looked at Arabella and she looked beyond annoyed and I just looked foward then the door was opened and we were led into the room by 2 telmarines each and all the lords gasped at all of us but more specifically at Arabella and I as they dragged us into the room
"but you forget my lords, narnia was once a savage land, free creatures roamed free" he said as we were all pushed to the floor and we looked at miras and me and Arabella glared at him while I shuffled in front of Archie so that no one would touch him
"marks of our 4 fathers blood was shed to terminate this vermin" he continued while he pointed at me and Arabella, who just glared at him
"or so we thought" he said and then turned to one of his lords and looked like he owned the world when he clearly didn't if that prince was meant to be king
"but while we have been bickering amongst ourselves, they've been breeding like cockroaches under a rock" he said as he turned back to us and looked at me and Archie with a pointed looks and I looked at him shocked and didn't dare to move to prove him right, as they pulled me and Arabella forward
"these two especially, are the two kings of old wives as well" he said and we looked at him and I nearly cried when he mentioned peter and then I hardened my stare at him while Arabella looked like she was going to kill him
"but they are growing stronger, watching us" he said and turned around to the throne and looked at it like it was his child
"ready to strike!" He yelled as he whipped around quickly and slapped me across the face and Archie moved forward to get to me but I held my hand out, telling him to stop and he did, as I fell backwards though, my gag came away from my mouth
"and you wonder why we have never like you" I said at him bitterly and everyone gasped that I had talked to him in such a way but miras ignored my comment and continued to walk to me and kneeled next to me and next to my ear
"and I intend to strike back" he whispered and I looked at him in shock and worry as he smirked that he had finally cracked my exterior and knew that our army was no where near ready and he looked all around his lords and I felt a surge of power go through me and I knew Arabella felt it too because her glare dropped for a moment they were finally back
"even if I have to cut down the whole forest, I will assure you I will find prince caspian and then..." he said but I cut him off by sarcastically saying with a new found confidence knowing that they was back
"then you'll kill him yourself?" I asked and all the lords looked at me in shock while Arabella, trumkin and Archie looked at me in amusement
"take them away" he said and then the soldiers took us away and 4 of the soldiers took us to the edge of the sea and sat us into a boat. Archie and me in one and Arabella and trumkin in another and we all set off onto the sea but on the way one of the soldiers said
"you'll have wished you'd never had said that darling" one said while stroking my cheek
"it's such a shame because you do have a pretty face" he said and I kicked him where the sun doesn't shine and knocked him out of the boat and the other called out to the other boat
"it'll be fine here!" He then grabbed Archie and stood on my leg so that I couldn't do anything to stop him...
