*edmunds pov*
I was riding on my griffin past the battle field and saw all the narnians but saw two in particular, trumpkin and Darcey. I swooped down on my griffin and kneeled next to them both and checked trumkins pulse still alive and then I cahecked darcey's pulse barely alive I picked them both up on the griffin and flew away with them on

"Come on Darcey, you dare leave any of us and I may fall out with you" I joked while there was still no movement and tears started to stream down my face, I didn't want to loose her when she was so much like a sister to me and is my sister-in-law.

*armadaus pov*
Everyone arrived home while me and the rest ran out to greet them and we saw a third of the narnians missing from when they left and I saw dad but no mum where is she?

"What happened?" Lucy asked and dad glared at caspian

"Ask him" he said and I looked at caspian then looked at dad while Ian walked towards me looking like he was about to cry forever

"What happened to mum?" I asked and Ara came up to us and he looked at us and so did dad

"I'm so sorry armadaus, she saved us all but it cost her in the process" he said and I looked at dad and then at lucy, who opened her arms and I ran to hug her while I was sobbing into her shoulder while she was comforting me as I heard Ara sobbing and Susan grabbed her comforting her because she had just lost her best friend of many years

"Peter" Susan said and peter glanced at her and Ara and looked at her in sympathy

"You could've called it off, there was still time" caspian said, shocked that it was suddenly his fault that lol of this happened

"There wasn't any. If you kept to the plan, those soldiers and my wife may be alive right now" dad said, his voice wavering at the mention of mum while I looked at them both

"And you'd have just stayed here like I suggested, they definitely would be" caspian said defending himself while I looked at him in shock like he didn't want dad or any of them here

"You called them remember? You got me, mum, trumpkin and Ara caught remember? Oh that's right you don't because all you care about is that you are fine and you control everything and because of your selfish ways, my mother has been taken away from me" I said and peter called me over and hugged me close and comforted me while looking at caspian while everyone knew I was right about him

"My first mistake, the other getting involved with this family" he said while looking at evie who looked heartbroken at the news about the death of her sister,the one person who really looked after her for many years had just slipped through all their fingers

"No, your first mistake was thinking you could lead these people and evie was never and never will be a mistake" peter said defending her while she gave him a nice smile in gratitude

"Hey!" Caspian shouted and Peter looked at him while I go in front Of dad just in case

"I am not the one who abandoned narnia" he said and I looked at him

"He did not abandon narnia, none of them did!" I shouted and he looked down at me and glared at me and Ara stood in front of me so he couldn't so anything to me while dad pointed at him

"You invaded narnia, you have no more right to lead than Miraz does" he said and caspian pushed past him

"You, him your father, narnia better off without the lot of you" dad said enraged and caspian screamed while unsheathing his sword as dad did and they pointed their swords at each other

"Stop it!" Edmund shouted as everyone moved out the way to show Ed and trumpkin, awake, and with mum within his arms and Me and Ara ran towards him and he placed her down and looked at me, dad and Ian, who had joined me and Edmund
