Turn back time (sequel to prophecy love (peter pevensie love story))

Chapter 11

I was walking around with Lucy as we started calming down after the situation that just occurred and we walked to the stone table room and me and Lucy looked at each other as we saw peter looking at the Aslan and Kian carved wall and we walked towards him lucy sitting by him while I was behind him softly playing with his hair as we all looked at the carved wall of my father and Kian and Lucy sighed, motioning him to talk silently

"Your lucky you know" peter said and Lucy looked at him while I still looked at head but still listening to the conversation that was taking place

"What do you mean?" Lucy asked confused as she looked at he brother with her arms in her lap while he had his arms around his knee

"To have seen them" he said, meaning his father in law and Kian and I looked down at him with sympathy

"I wish he had just given me some sort of proof" he said to her and I placed my forehead onto where his hair was while closing my eyes and thinking about my dad and how much I actually miss him

"Maybe we are the ones who need to prove ourselves to him" lucy suggested and I smiled at how she always had hope to any situation and then she rubbed him arm as peter reached behind him and grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers and I smiled into his hair and then Edmund and Ara  walked in and looked quite worried

"Pete, Darcey you better come quickly" Edmund said and peter helped me off the stone and we walked outside together, still holding each other's hand.

We all hurried out to see a lot of telmarine soldiers coming towards the keep and I sucked in a large breath and panic enclosed my features while peter squeezed my hand, reassuring me that everything will be fine and caspian and peter shared a look and there were hundreds of them and they had huge machines with them and I looked down at my stomach that wasn't even showing yet and looked back up even more worried than before and we all looked down to see miraz in golden armour and peter looked at him while glaring and I looked at peter, not knowing what to do

"And kale drums that's your next big plan?" Trumpkin asked peter while I had just walked into the room and looked at him and he looked at me and shrugged, standing by his point as I looked even more confused

"Sending a little girl and a little boy into the darkest parts of the forest alone?" He asked and I looked at peter

"Peter I wouldn't mind if it was anyone else but you have got to be mad" I said and he looked at me

"It's our only chance" he declared boldly while Susan and Lucy stood in the corner

"And besides, they won't be alone" Susan added and trumpkin walked up to lucy being quite fond of the younger pevensie and looked at her upset

"Haven't enough of us died or nearly died already?" He asked her, worrying for her and Armadaus' well being

"Nikabrick was my friend too but he lost hope, queen lucy and Prince armadaus hasn't and neither have" the badger commented, who was next to Edmund and Ara and then we heard a sword being unsheathed and we all looked at reepicheep

"For Aslan" He said while putting his sword to his shoulder

"For Aslan" a bear joined in and then we all looked at lucy and trumpkin

"Then I'm going with you" trumpkin said and Lucy stepped forward putting her hand on his shoulder

"No we need you here" she said

"We have to hold them off until lucy, armadaus and Susan get back" peter said and I looked at him and nodded

"If I may" caspian interjected and evie rolled her eyes, still mad with what he had said earlier

"Miraz maybe violent and unmerciful but as king he is subject to the traditions and expectations of his people, there is one in particular that may buy us some time" he said and peter looked at him and evie looked at me wide eyed

"Caspian no" evie said and he looked at her

"It is the only way eve " he said and she shook her head

"You cannot ask him to do that when he has a wife and 3 kids to look after" she said and caspian ignored her as him and peter sorted out the duel

"Peter please think about this" I begged as he was writing it

"I need to do this Darcey, for you and all of narnia" he said

"But its to the death peter and I know you have experience but you have 3 kids to think about. Don't think about me think about them and think how it would affect them. You wanted to be here to see these twins grow up and if you go through with this, you may never see them be born, let alone their first words or steps" I said and walked out the room while large amount of tears were falling down my face as armadaus, Ara and Amelia followed me and comforted me as I cried

Next thing I knew was that we were all walking to where peter was going to duel miraz, right outside the keep. All the narnians were cheering very loudly for peter as me, Edmund, Ara  and peter walked towards the little centre where the duel will be held and I looked more worried than anything as we reached our little corner, Edmund holding peters sword for him as peter carried his sheikh and I had my daggers hidden on me and so did Ara in case if anything should go wrong because We were ready to break the rules if that meant that peter could see these twins grow up. Peter unsheathed his sword and the narnians cheered louder for him and then Miraz put his helmet on and took out his sword and then stepped forward while looking at me instead of peter and I felt quite intimidated but I stood my ground to look confident, for peter and for Aslan and Kian. Peter turned to me and whispered

"I love you and the kids" and then he pecked my lips and then looked at miraz and advanced forward but didn't put the face bit on his helmet down and I looked at him and breathed heavily while they circled each other

"There is still time to surrender" miraz said but we all knew peter wouldn't do that because his ego was too big when it came to duels

"Well feel free" peter said and I nearly snorted, not expecting him to be that sarcastic towards him

"How many more must die for the throne?" He asked peter and then miraz looked at me and peter growled a little

"Just one" he said and then put down his helmet while miraz took his eyes away from me and then Pete jumped on a rock and their swords clashed with each other's shields
