Chapter 8

We walked down this hallway with I lighted torch and looked at the little cave men type drawings that were of us and the story of how the pevensies arrived to narnia and how they defeated the white witch and many had Aslan or Kian in and some had me and peter holding hands or hugging and then one really caught my eye where I was holding my stomach while looking at a painting of me and peter on our wedding day and I looked at it shocked. That's the day he left and then I found out I was pregnant with armadaus I touched the little painting when I felt arms wrap around my waist and I looked behind me to see peter

"That was the day I left and you found out, wasn't it?" He asked, guiltiness clear in his voice and I looked behind me at him and sighed

"Peter isn't wasn't like you knew and you found the opening by accident, you've explained and I understand but hopefully if we have another then we can work together towards helping to raise the baby" I said and he nodded

"I just felt bad that for 300 years you had to deal with it on your own while I've only had to deal with it for a year" he said and I nodded

"Peter I know you're not going to be able to stay here, I can feel it but I want to go with you but I also want to stay here as well because everyone but you and the rest, are here so I don't know what to do" I said not knowing where this conversation will go so I just walked away from him and he let me

"It's us" Susan said to break up the growing tension in the room as well all looked at one of 6 thrones that were our thrones

"What is this place" lucy asked while looking at caspian, me and Arabella to answer her

"You don't know?" He asked them and all 4 of them stood there looking confused and caspian grabbed a torch and walked past them with me and Arabella not too far behind and then the rest behind us. We walked down a corridor, lighting it as we went along and then we came to a large room where there were coals that caspian went towards and lighted them as they all went along and lit up the whole room and ended up by showing a carving of Aslan and Kian and me and Arabella studied it carefully, not seeing this before in the keep and all the pevensies looked at it also with unreadable expressions on their face and in the middle was the stone table that my dad and Kian once dies on and Lucy walked forward and touched the stone

"They must know what they are doing" lucy said while looking at Susan while she looked at the Aslan and Kian sculpture that is on the wall

"I think it's up to us now" peter said looking emotionless under his expression and I looked at him shocked because he has never been like this about anything and then a young thorn came down and told us about a telmarine spy that he saw and that's when everyone else joined us so that we could talk about it. I was sat on the stone table while holding little peter within my arms and Amelia was sat next to me holding little Darcey in her arms and then lucy was the other side of me and Arabella was next to her and armadaus was sat on the little steps to the stone in front of me and iris, willow and Noah were all sat with him while everyone else was standing up

"It's only a matter of time, as men and war machines are on their way, that means those same men aren't protecting his castle" he said and I rolled my eyes at his stupid idea of attacking the castle and I could tell that Ara agreed with my opinion

"What do you propose we do your majesty?" Reepicheep asked and I looked at peter while peter looked at me

"We need to get ready for war-"
"Start planning-"
Both caspian and peter said at the same time and I closed my eyes and sighed while lucy rubbed my back, both of us knowing what was about to happen but caspian cowered away a little

"Our only hope is to strike at them before they strike at us" peter said and he looked at me while I was looking down at little peter and smiled a little he is doing this for you Ian's voice whispered in my head while I carried on looking at baby peter, who looked a lot like bigger peter and I smiled a little
