Chapter 12

At that moment everyone cheered and then peter swung his sword but miraz blocked it with his shield and then miraz hit peter in the head which his shield and I gasped a little while Edmund and Ara looked at me

"He will be fine" ed said in his head but I heard him and I looked straight ahead

"I know he will, if I have something to do with it" I said and he looked confused for a moment

"What do you mean Darcey?"  He asked and I raised my eyebrow and looked ahead to see them still fighting each other

"I know peter doesn't want me involved but if he thinks he isn't going to be in these kids lives he has another thing coming" I said and then Ed understood so we ended the conversation at that. Peter and miraz where constantly blocking each other blows to each other and we're both letting out grunts of frustration but then peter slashed his back a little but miraz was back in a fighting stance as soon as he cried out in pain and then they both struck each other, Peter managing to hurt him a little again while the crowd went wild cheering for him as he was doing well and he looked at me for a second and winked while I rolled my eyes

"Don't get cocky peter, I always taught you that" I said in his head and he had no time to answer me as miraz went to swing for his head but he easily ducked but then miraz hit him with his shield and his helmet came off and I gasped

"Peter" I whispered and went to go forward but Ed and Ara stopped me before I could get anywhere and then miraz went for his head again but he leant backwards and missed it and I sighed a little in relief as everyone watched in silence and then he went on his knees and slashed miraz's leg and he cried out in pain but then miraz went for his legs and peter flipped out the way of him, like I taught him all those years ago to do and he stood up but miraz knocked him back down and then stood on the shield and I saw peters shoulder pop out of place while he cried out in pain and even the bear look worried for him and I looked like I was going to cry or beat miraz to death but then peter still carried on trying to hit him and missed miraz's blows that were coming at him and he rolled continuously out of the way but then hit miraz's sheild and caused him to go off balance and fall over while peter got quickly back up but more wide eyed than before and then he quickly looked at me and i looked at him but he nodded and I slowly nodded also but then we saw a horse with caspian and Susan on the back turn up but no lucy and no armadaus but peter was in too much pain with his shoulder and we could all see it

"Does his highness need a break?" Miraz asked and then peter looked at him

"5 minutes?" He asked and miraz looked at him

"3!" He exclaimed and then peter walked over to us, clearly in a lot of pain and a pain and Susan walked over

"Lucy? Armadaus?" He asked and Susan looked at him

"They got through with a little help" she said while looking at caspian

"Thanks" Peter said to him

"No problem" he said and then peter looked back at Susan

"You better get back up there just in case, I don't think the telmarines are going to keep their word" he said honestly and Susan nodded while hugging him but he winced at his shoulder

"Sorry" she muttered and he nodded

"No it's fine" he dismissed it and Susan hugged me while walking to the keep

"Keep smiling" Ed and Ara reminded him as we all looked at the worried narnians so peter forced a smile and held up his sword and they all cheered loudly for their king while holding up their weapons. We saw peter was still In pain so we sat him down while Ed looked at his arm, I bent down in front of him
