Part 3/4! I'm so excited for this book, it's been so fun thinking of ideas and thank you for reading!
A/N: You're 15 in this one!
How could I have been so stupid? Previously, I went to a party, not a party where you get drunk and dance with strangers, this party was a girl's only slumber party. There was 6 girls including myself, and for some stupid reason we all gave each other piercings using clean safety pins.
Somehow, my friends convinced me to get a belly button ring, which me in my state last night agreed to. Now I'm stuck with a belly button piercing, that looks professional, but I really didn't like it anymore, it hurt and really isn't cute.
It was 7 in the morning, and Calum was coming to get me at 8, because he has to go to the studio to work on their new album, and I packed a crop top and leggings, not knowing the events that would take place.
I know Calum won't be the happiest with me, but maybe he'll understand that it was a stupid mistake. He's done plenty of stupid things in his life. Sure you all can think of one. I was brushing my hair, thankfully it's really long that it could potentially cover the piercing. My phone buzzed on the bathroom counter, seeing I got a text from Calum. I sighed, not wanting to deal with this right now.
Asian Valentyne: I'm in the driveway... I hope you're up. xx
I sighed, again, putting the hairbrush in my backpack and going back to the bedroom to collect all of my things. All the other girls were still asleep so that made the escape much easier. I checked around the room one last time, and once I had all my things, I left the room, closing it behind me and running down the stairs to the front door.
Calum's car sat in the driveway, he was talking to Ashton who was in the driver's seat. I pulled my hair to be in front of my shoulders, and it perfectly covered my piercing. I opened the door and plopped down in the back seat.
"Hey Y/N!" Ashton cheered.
"Hey Ash, how can you be so cheery in the mornings?"
"Y/N, I always am cheery, I thought you would know this by now." He said, turning to face me.
I saw his gaze travel down to my stomach, and I looked down to see a small particle of shiny metal poking through my hair. Calum looked behind him, and met Ashton's gaze, he didn't look as angry as I expected him to be, he just looked a bit worried. He pulled out of the driveway and drove in the direction of the studio.
The first several minutes of the ride, felt very uncomfortable, he kept staring at me through the rear view mirror. I could tell he was disappointed, Ashton on the other hand seemed to like it, but he wouldn't dare say that in front of Calum while he's in this mood.
"So Y/N, I noticed you have a piercing. Don't play stupid, I can see it." He said plainly.
I looked down, staring at my shoes. I wish I hadn't given into peer pressure, because then I wouldn't be in this situation with my brother.
"Why? I thought you were smarter than this." Calum said, while staring at the quiet road ahead of us.
I didn't realize that tears were pouring out, until they dropped on my leggings, creating wet spots all over my thighs. I looked out the window, feeling guilty, even if it wasn't fully my fault. I looked at the stores, the scenery we were passing through to get to the end of the block to the studio, that had a few cars outside of it, signalling that Luke and Michael had already arrived.
The car stopped. and I followed Ashton and Calum's lead of getting out of the car, not bothering to take anything in except my phone.
"Ash go ahead and get in, tell Luke and Mikey that I'll be in in a minute. I want to talk to her first." Ash nodded and followed Cal's instructions.
Cal's face softened when he saw my tear stained cheeks. I looked him in the eye, his brown eyes meeting mine.
"Tell me what happened?"
"I-I was pressured into getting a piercing. All the girls were getting one, and I tried to say no, but then they served alcohol and I got a little wasted, and must've said yes while I wasn't sober. I regret it, I don't want it, but it's mostly cause I was afraid of how you would react."
He grabbed a hold of my shoulders and pulled me into him, hugging me tightly.
"I'm sorry for assuming that you wanted it, and those friends aren't real friends if they didn't respect your requests. From now on at these slumber parties, if they try to do this, text me and I'll be there to pick you up. Got it?"
"Got it, thanks Cal." I smiled and he kissed the top of my head.
"Let's go in." He walked me in, with his arm slumped over my shoulder.
We walked in, seeing Ash, Mikey and Luke standing by the couches. Luke and Mikey got up and hugged me, Michael noticed my piercing right away as he picked me up over his head and spun me around.
"She's punk rock now!" He said while I giggled.
"Put her down before you break her." Calum said and Michael put me down.
I couldn't help but chuckle, beside Calum, Michael and I were the closest, we were like siblings, when Calum had late nights at the studio, Michael would come over and keep me company.
"Finally we have a Hood sibling that's punk rock." Luke said, messing with my hair.
"Whatever, I'm going in." Cal said, grabbing a pair of headphones and walked into the booth as I sat on the couch next to Michael and Ashton.
I rested my head on Mikey's shoulder as Ashton ran his fingers through my hair, finally getting some sleep that I missed last night.
