A/N: hey guys! Sorry I haven't updated in a bit, been working on my story, Half. Anyways decided to do a bit of a more emotional story. These will be in his point of view.

Ashton (8):

Me and the boys were in the studio today working on our fourth album that hasn't been named yet. We were doing some writing and some recording of the music before coming back tomorrow to record our vocals.

Right now we were waiting on Michael to arrive and the three of us boys were lounged on the couch and playing on our phones as the local news was on in the background. I insisted we kept the news on in case there was an emergency with Y/N's school. Like today.

"We are covering the story of the shooting at Sydney Elementary school where there was a gunman shooting at buildings, as well as the play structure on campus. Police men and ambulances are on the scene as we speak and the gunman is still out there. Please stay inside and wait until police orders." The news lady spoke.

I rose from my seat on the couch and started pacing frantically in the open space. My sister went to that school- my baby sister. She loved being on the play structure with her friends, what if she was shot? I stayed quiet listening to the news, so far nothing but interviews with the police, but then the lady came back to say that no students were harmed, but the gunman was found dead in a faculty bathroom. I let out a large sigh and rushed out of the studio to the school to pick up my sister.

Calum (14):

I was at the studio recording my vocals for our band's upcoming cover of Queen hit 'Killer Queen', it was very different from anything we've done and is truly a lot more work than any other song or album we've put out there. As I was recording some of the background vocals, my phone started to ring outside of the booth and the producers stopped our recording session.

"Cal it's Y/N!" Michael yelled to me, I took off the headphones and rushed outside to him where he gave me my phone.

I instructed her to only call me if she was sick or if there was an emergency.

"Hello?"

"Cal, there's a shooting." She spoke quietly and fragile, very opposite of her outgoing personality.

"Stay quiet love, you'll be okay."

"Cal what if I'm not?"

"Babe just breathe, it's all you can do, but I know you'll make it out, you'll be okay." I say.

She takes breaths into the phone speaker and soon I hear gun shots outside the classroom, it was louder than anything I've ever heard, and it's horrifying to know my sister is in that mess.

"I gotta go, Cal. I love you."

"I love you more y/n, you'll be okay." I say. Then the line goes dead.

I hold my head in my hands praying that my sister comes out of this alive.

A few hours later I got out of the studio and head straight to her school where they had cop cars everywhere, what happened was a parent lost it and brought a gun to the school to shoot, nobody was injured and the gunman was taken into custody. I saw y/n come running out of the classroom and straight towards me. Tears ran down her face and I lifted her to my arms, thanking god that she was okay.

Michael (17):

I was at home enjoying the day off of work. I got up to go to the kitchen to get a snack and stopped in my tracks when the news came on and in the background I saw my little sister's school. I dropped my coffee mug, resulting in shattered glass and cold coffee all over the floor. That was the least of my worries as I saw the camera focused on the school. Apparently there was a shooting across the street from the school, and they're searching for a motive.

I texted my sister.

To: Lil Sis 💄: Hey u ok? I'm watching the news rn.

To Michael 🎤: yeah, there's a shooting across the street and I'm scared Mikey.

To lil sis 💄: don't be scared, you'll be okay. The police are there.

To Michael 🎤: thanks Mikey, love you. 😘

To lil sis 💄: love you too, stay safe.

I smiled as she read it and I can feel she's smiling too. Thankful that she's still alive and is safe on the campus.

Luke (6):

I was sick to my stomach watching the news to see my little sister's school was almost involved in a shooting. The school was gated and the shooting occurred in a house across the street. Nobody knows who the gunman is and why he's shooting but they're expecting him to move to the school so they brought all the kids inside and on lockdown. My sister doesn't have a phone or a way to contact me, and as I stared at the tv screen, I prayed that she was safe and following the teacher's instructions.

I kept watching as the police raided the home and came out with a gun in their hands, potentially the weapon the gunman had. I felt a bit of relief upon seeing that maybe they did capture the psycho and my sister will be able to go back to playing outside very soon. It's a shame she's living in a world that people behave this way and because she's so young, she doesn't need a reason to be afraid to go to school.

Police came out the front door of the home with the suspect in hand cuffs and soon the police drove away, soon the cameras focused on the elementary school across the street and soon enough parents started arriving on campus to pick up their children. I grabbed my keys and rushed out of the house to pick up my sister.

When I arrived there were tons of parents and older siblings waiting for their children to come out and I ran to the front of the crowd as I saw little Y/N walking quietly behind her classmates, when her eyes met mine she started to form a small smile, as she ran into my arms I carried her back to the car. She was crying a bit so I stopped for some ice cream, knowing that would make her smile no matter what.
