(Tristan pov)

There was nothing but silence as I was driving away from the crowd and the reporters. Even though Candy was sitting in the passenger seat next to me it felt like I was driving by myself.

I looked over at her she was sitting and looking out the window as we were driving through the city watching it pass us by. The silence was killing me on the inside why wouldn't she talk to me.

I sighed and decided to try again hoping I would get some response.

"So what brought you back down here?" I asked her.

She was still looking out of the window.

"I don't know?" she said in a dry tone.

"Do you have a place to stay?" I asked her concerned.

"Yea I do.."

I kept my eyes straight on the road as I quickly pulled into a Walmart parking lot and parked and turned my truck off.

Candy gave me a confused look.

"What are we doing here?" she asked.

I placed both of my hands on the steering wheel as I looked straight ahead.

"Did you run away because of me?" I asked her.

(Candy pov)

This was not what I was expecting to happen I was at a lost for words when Tristan asked me why I left that night.

His eyes were still facing straight ahead as he waited for his answer.

I sighed and looked down at my feet.

"It's hard to explain." I said to him.

He looked at me.
"You don't just up and leave then disappear for two months not saying anything to anyone."
I lost my daughter I told him holding back the tears from running down my face I didn't cry then I'm not about to cry now.

"So did I!" he shouted.

I looked at him like he crazy.

"Don't yell at me!" I yelled at him.
He took a breath and slumped into his seat.

"I'm sorry but I feel you forget that I was just as devastated about losing our baby girl."

"We lost her because of..."

"Don't you say it that had nothing to do with me, what she did was on her not me." he said with a serious look on his face.

I crossed my arms. Sometimes I did blame Tristan I don't know why but I did I also blamed his crazy ex wife, My ex boyfriend but I mostly blame myself.

He said nothing as he stared the truck up and pulled out of the parking lot.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

He said nothing as he kept driving for a minute I was almost scared until I realized we were going to his house.

Once we were in the driveway of the place we use to call home suddenly brought chills to my spine.

"What are we doing here?' I asked him my voice became shaky.

He said nothing as he got out of the truck and slammed the door and stormed into the house.
I quickly jumped out running inside.

"What the hell is going on!" I yelled as I seen him walking up the stairs with a metal bat.

What the fuck!
I ran upstairs only to find him standing in the middle of a pink and white room with a white crib, a rocking chair, and the words Miracle in wooden letters on the wall.

It was our deceased daughter's room Miracle that was what we were going to name her.

"What are we doing here?" I said with my fist clenched by my side.

"Why does it matter! you clearly don't care you didn't say anything, You didn't even shed one tear!" He yelled.

Before I knew It he took the bat and started smashing everything my eyes watched in horror.

"What the fuck are you doing!" I shouted.

He paused for a minute.
'Admit it!" he yelled.

"Admit what!" I yelled back.

At this point we were having a shouting match.

"Say you care about losing daughter!" He shouted and went back to smashing things.
Broken glass and wood were on the floor.

My body couldn't move as I stood there looking at Tristan who face was red with anger.

"Stop please!" I shouted on the verge of crying.

"Then say you care Carla!" He yelled once again.

I couldn't hold it in anymore as Tears started running down my face like a water faucet.

"I care ok, losing our daughter was the worse day of my life!" I cried out.

All I heard was Tristan dropping the bat and walking over to me and embracing me in a warm hug.

I held him tight as we stood there wrapped in eachothers arms.
