The Song of the Heart

31 2 1

Oh what a great tune,
With my two feet tapping the dune
All I hear is in my mind,
When all I see is a mixed bind.

The Sands extend far,
As far as the eye could meet.
As the lone traveller heard
The song that was sung by none.

I heard none follow,
While I dwelt in my sorrow.
There came the winds to tell,
That They're with me until I fell

Silence all around,
Broken by a melodious song
Left unheard was better,
But human nature got me bitter.

As I heard the song,
Not one stood in front to sing.
As my heart cried on its own,
Upon the exile of his crown.

As I wondered what that sang,
Such melody yet sad to hear
Wonder what he must've had to bear,
That made him go bang

He must've gone places,
For him to tie such laces
For he was the crown in exile
The dark heart that was denied.
