He who heard cries,
Wondered who wailed in pain,
For he thought life was a prize,
Only to have the thought slain.Heard just by one,
Found deaf to all.
Hoped for the rising sun,
To dawn upon after fall.Unknown cries he heard,
Cried bitterly to forget,
Only to have it seared,
For eternity which he feared. His heart that cried,
Yearned to be heard,
Yet none that came forward,
Struck with ways of the world. He who cursed his arrogance,
To remain ignorant till present,
For he understood that he alone,
Heard his heart.Changed and mended his ways,
For he knew he was,
The only God to exist,
Among others whom he called fools.Looked back to remember,
The eternal cry of his own,
He who rose up higher,
Only to fall alone back to depths unknownWondered what went wrong,
Where the misstep was.
For every step has a reason,
He who realised his mistake.Looked around hazily,
Interrupted, "Are you okay?"
Asked one, For single tear that fell,
Relieved to have another in his taleHe who opened his eyes,
To find that darkness wasn't reality,
For he who found companions,
Rose together to never fall for eternityFor he found what it was,
Purpose of the cries which he,
Could not comprehend,
Not alone. He who soothed his heart,
Understanding that was sought,
"Fall to the depths but always caught,
People who care don't grow apart."
