Chapter six

Sky

The next morning, just before sunrise, we're sitting in my Old Truck.

Danny in the passenger seat and Leo on the backbench. I leave the engine on and drive off. "Where's it going?" Asks Leo. "First breakfast. Without coffee, Nothing goes. " I drive to a little coffee by a lake where the sunrise looks particularly spectacular. Danny I send breakfast hollow while I widen out the picnic blanket on the jetty with Leo. We sit down and I pack out my guitar. Somehow I'm sorry to Leo that he can never listen to music. He looks sadly at the guitar and shows "I will never hear you play, but I like music so much." "Leo you don't have to listen to music around it was increasing. You just have to feel them in your heart. " ' and how's that going? ' ' Next week I'll show you. Promised. But not a word on Danny. And now we're looking at the sunrise. " I sit down and Leo cuddles up to me. I have the guitar on my lap. Slowly you can discover a red fireball on the horizon and as we watch it rise from the black night I play guitar. At some point, Danny sits down with us and takes us in his arm. He parked breakfast behind us. Together we look at the sunrise and listen to the sounds of the guitar paired with those, nature.

After a while we have breakfast before we set off again. We have a long drive ahead of us and in the afternoon I wanted to be there. My destination is not a pristine beach that few know, all in southern Florida. My mum was often there with me when I was smaller. We slept on the beach and looked into the starry sky. They were wonderful times there. Now I want to share them with Leo and Danny, as well as fulfill my mum's last wish. The ride runs in silence only with the quiet dudel of the old radio. Leo fell asleep after a short time and Danny, too, quickly caught up with sleep. I enjoy the feeling of not being alone. Danny is a remarkable man at just 20 years of age he takes care of his little brother and that as lovingly as not many fathers manage. My mum has always been there for me since my grower let himself down shortly after I was born. He transfers money to us, but no money in the world can replace a good father. That's why I'm insanely angry with him. I don't even know his name. Mum supported me, showed me the music. From all their sides. She worked as a music teacher until she became too ill. She broke her heart to be unable to work. By the time she got the diagnosis, I had just turned fifteen. It took me a long time to accept it. The music gave me hope, comforted me when she was getting worse. It was hard to care for her with little help from social service, but I owed it to her after all she did for me. I even took over almost all of her students, even though most were my age or older. I am proud to be able to claim that it has not bothered her to be taught by me now rather than by my mother.

The journey passes faster than thought. The boys both slept through and I thought and watched them. Danny just looks captivating when he's asleep. He seems younger and relaxed. A little above the beach, I park and get out. I have to go to the toilet every more, which is why I disappear into the forest and do my business. And sleep dear Danny we do under the stars. " Surprised, he looks at me "And when it rains?" ' Then there's a hut nearby. And now don't stand around like that, but help me set up camp. At sunset we start. " With these words I take the picnic blanket and what else I can wear and go. I meander the narrow trample path through the grass to the beach. When I recognize my favorite spot from before, I put it down and go back. Danny still hasn't moved from the spot. In passing, I give him a fleeting kiss and say, laughing, "Are you coming? Who looks at me irritated, but then does what I asked him to do. Oh the innocence of a ten-year-old. My clothes that I hold in my hand I throw away and walk towards Danny. "What are you up to?" He asks. I don't answer but kiss him just stormy and demanding. Danny immediately deepens the kiss and pulls me closer to him, so I'm now right at his neck chest. He tastes heavenly after, summer and Danny. Breaking badly, we eventually let go of each other. "That was the madness!" He whispers. "I also found: But now I'm showing you how to paddle stand-up." I carefully tap Leo and he makes his eyes and I give him "Come I'll show you how to paddle stand-up." He and Danny follow me to the boards I have dropped a little away from our camp. ' We only have two boards, that's why Leo just sits on your board in the front. Tomorrow he is allowed to try it for himself. "I say to Danny and give it a similar say for Leo. I quickly give both of them a crash course and then hollow my mother's urn as well as a sea back with provisions and emergency stuff that I attach to my board. I check everything and say "Can it go off?" From both of them I get a stimulant nod and then off we go. The sun is slowly setting and dipping the sky into a light red. We paddle a half hour out to the open sea, towards the setting sun. When we finally get far enough out I say "Stop!" And we sit down on the boards. I look up to Danny, who is cheering me up to nick, and hollow the urn out to open it. "I love you Mum!" I say, taking a handful of ashes and scattering it into the sea. ' You've been the best mum! ' I take a second hand. ' Thank you Mum! ' I take a third hand. "May I do too?" Asks Leo and I nicke. I hold the urn to him and he takes a handful of scattered it and then gives birth to "Now you're in heaven and a star. You'll shine brightly Skys Mum. And what else can you tell my parents that I love them. " I have tears in my eyes because Leo's words were so touching and even Danny seems too deeply moved. I scatter the remaining ashes and stash the urn again. Then I pull Danny's board on mine and first give Leo a kiss on the forehead and then a Danny on the mouth. "I love you guys!" I say and give birth.
