Chapter eleven

Danny

I ring on Sky's front door. It takes for her to open the door, it seems to me she's clearing away something I'm not supposed to see. She opens the door but doesn't look me in the eye, she looks at the floor. It strikes me that she has a wide dress on, instead of something tight as usual. I step in and she hints at me putting me on the living room couch. She herself sits down opposite me on an armchair. ' Why are you here? ' "To talk to you, Sky." "Well then go." Why didn't you tell me this is your new job? ' ' Because I thought you'd already finish school and don't go to school anymore. When I saw you in the classroom, my heart has sprbled into thousands of pieces and you don't know how much I miss you and Leo misses you Sky too. " She starts crying and I get up to comfort her and take her in the arm. I give her a kiss and she reciprocates it with all her feelings. The kisses are getting more and more passionate and I love her neck with kisses. She she bends towards me and smoulders through my hair as I love it and missed it so much, then she slings the legs around my waist and my hand automatically wanders to her butt to lift it. I take her on her arm and carry her up to her room, where I put her on her bed and lie over her to explore with kisses her body, actually so well-known, as she explores the mine with her hands. I'm bothered by her dress, which is still between us and takes it off to her. After that, she takes off my T-shirt and jeans and we continue to caress each other. But when I want to take the next step, she shakes her head, "We can't do that, if someone gets that out, then you're off your job and it just gets harder for us to fall, as it is without it." I nod and cuddle up to her. ' What should that actually be with the song for the big band, you know full well that it's about you. And now Mr. Hoffmann wants me to write one more piece, by Wednesday. And Danny just for your info, it's going to be a duet and I've already written it and you're going to sing it with me. That's already been talked about with Mr. Hoffmann. " I still pull Sky a bit on me when it strikes me that it has increased. Out of courtesy, though, I don't say anything. "Then let's practice. You piano, I guitar? " "Yes. Here lyrics and guitar notes. " She gives me both and I play through it once while Sky sit down at the piano. I get up and sit by her back so we sit back to back. Only in underwear. Then we sing the duet and it just sounds wonderful, because it's about our first encounter. I'll give her a kiss "That's really great and I'm excited to sing with you on stage. No one will have any idea that the play is about both of us. " We cuddle up in her bed again and already she fell asleep. I watch her sleep a bit more until I, too, fell asleep at some point. Since Leo is luckily staying with a friend.

The beeping of the alarm clock wakes me up, even Sky scares up. Damn today is school, I get up and get dressed before I go over to pull myself around. All of a sudden, Sky jumps up and runs into the bath, closes the door and turns on the water so I can't hear what she's doing. After five minutes, she comes back out. ' What's going on Sky? ' ' Can you go please. I was bad and I'm not going to school today. And now go! Please Danny! "She pleads with me. I nod and leave, but give her a kiss on the forehead beforehand. At home I get ready and go to school, still quite confused from last night and today. My phone beeps. A WhatsApp from Sky.

Sky: Leo can come to me after school and I do with him with homework.

Me: Thank you Sky, but only if you're better off.

Then I enter the secretariat to get my mail before going to the teacher's room. Mr. Hoffmann waits in my seat. "Ah, there they are Mr. Sommer, could I talk to them for a moment under four eyes? It's about a very talented student of them, in her music class. " I nod and follow him into a room. ' They're determined to mean Sky Jefferson. She also wrote the piece I gave you. Yes, she's in the big band and was horrified at first, but we're allowed to play the song and she's written another duet that we're only allowed to play if you sing with her. As revenge, for just giving me her song like that. Are they there? " "Yes, I am." ' ok, the first gig is next Friday at the music club, until then we're rehearsing every day from morning, including on Saturday and I expect them to be in rehearsals. Enjoy teaching, see you. " And with that, he goes. I, too, make my way to the music halls. As I enter the classroom it gets quite quiet and the girls throw at me languishing glances. On the desk is a note I read.

We have to talk after class.

Lynn and Nick

Then I start my lessons, quite normally. But as the hour approaches, I become more and more nervous, because I am afraid of the stall pauk that comes right away. The hour is over and Lynn and Nick wait until all the students have left the classroom before coming on top of me. Nick looks upset and even Lynn, who otherwise always smiles, looks very angry. ' What did you think about visiting Sky yesterday. She finds it hard enough not to see you in private and to be close to them or to forget you, as she is reminded of them every day. And because of yesterday, it's going to be even harder. Why did they forward our song to Mr. Hoffmann? Sky travels together for you so you can keep their job. She has even thought about dropping out of school, only for her to be both a couple without you losing her job and still being allowed to be there for her. And you don't manage to tear yourself down reasonably. They are to blame for Skye's future being broken. I can sing them together, but now please keep them at least one meter apart and private meetings are only possible under our supervision! " Lynn gives me a sermon. I just nod, then they leave.
