A year after our wedding, I found out I was pregnant. The pregnancy wasn't easy but Peter was great support. I still remember the moment the nurse walked into the hospital room Peter and I were in. "Peter and Anne Van Pels?" "Yes" "Mrs.Van Pels, you gave birth to a baby boy." The nurse handed me our son, Peter stroked his hair gently with tears in his eyes. All I could say was "Hello, John" waves of emotions overcame me. The nurse took a picture of us in the playroom. This is the family I always dreamed of. I couldn't wait to spend my life with Peter and John.
