But that split second ended within seconds as my dream started streaming back into my head like water slipping threw floodgates. The sound of the bolt being shot made me tense up. Derek noticed and glanced at me worried.
"You ok?" he asked I flinched and felt my face flush red. I didn't think he'd notices. My heart started beating faster but I didn't want to tell him about my dream. It would probably worry him and May, if she heard she thinks that dreams held some wired meaning. She'd probably think my dream means I would die soon or something. I forced a smile
"yeah!, it's just hot" I joked as I pulled the collar of my hoodie to let some air in. I felt like a pig by how much I was sweating, god I should have grabbed something else. Anthony over heard and walked over to me.
"Yeah why are you wearing a hoodie?" he asked as he wrapped his arms around me. Anthony if you haven't noticed is also slightly over friendly even though he drives me and everyone else crazy. He is very nice and kind just like teasing me ALOT. I pushed his arms off of me before I go nose deaf from his BO.
"I was in a rush!, I thought I was late" Anthony smirked and glanced at Derek, Derek flinched and his checks slightly started turning pink.
"Oh?, but Der-" before Anthony could finish Derek hurried to cover his mouth and jerk him away from me. May walked over to me as we watched the brother whisper yell at each other. May was giggling, Derek had Anthony in a head lock and refused to look at us.
"Hehe what do you think Derek's yelling at him for?" May whispered as she hugged my arm. I shrugged and glanced at the cross walk seeing the white man and shockingly no cars were coming.
"Guys!" I called as me and May started walking over.
"Come on or we will be late!" I shouted over to them. Seeing we were getting kind of farther away from them. But we could still hear Anthony laughing. I glanced over my shoulder and saw Derek rubbing his head with his left hand annoyed by whatever Anthony was going to tell me.
I wonder what he was going to say but I shrugged it off thinking it was just Anthony being Anthony. But soon my thoughts were torn away. When I heard a loud ear piercing car honking, like the ones you hear in the movies.
I shot my head to the sound and a huge truck was charging down the road. The head light's were shining. The window shield were as dark as night.
"JULIA!" Derek, Anthony and May screamed. Their voice's over lapped each other. And for a split second I felt like I was back in my dream. The iron walls, the flashing red lights and the sounds of the sirens blaring.
Everything felt so real to the point my body refused to move.
"JULIA!" I heard May scream, but my legs felt like stone. I CANT MOVE!, I throw my arms over my face but the truck never hit me. The sound of the car honking slowly died off like it was getting farther and farther away.
I shot my eyes back open and wished I didn't. The truck was inches away from my face but the truck looked like it was a glitch on a computer game. Colors danced around the truck as parts of it vanished and then appeared.
My legs felt like jelly and I crashed down. All of our eyes were locked on the truck not believing what we were seeing. Soon the truck it self vanished as if it was never there. Nothing no echo of the car honk. Not the tire markings on the road when the driver tried coming to a stop nothing. I felt like I was in the middle of an earthquakes by how much my body was shaking.
But then I noticed the side walk a few feet away from Derek and Anthony was vanishing?!. Like when a computer is whipping away a virus and everything turns white.
