Glitch

We soon parted my lips felt so cold without his warm lips pressed against mine. A long moment past with us just staring at each other. His cheeks were flushed red. I must have looked like a tomato.

     "Ah...sorry I just kissed you out of nowhere" Derek whispered/chuckled but I didn't say anything. I gently touched my lips missing the feeling. He stared at me before resting his forehead on mine.

     "It-it's fine...I-I liked it" I whimpered. My voices cracking making me feel more embarrassed, he smiled and pulled my hand up to his lips and gently kissed it. Sending shocks threw out my hand. 

     "Me too...we should head back before Anthony comes in" Derek laughed as he gently moved my hair away from my face. I smiled and nodded, Derek got up and grabbed my hand and helped me up. Immediately wrapped his arms back around me making the smile on my face form bigger.

I was in love with this feeling and the feelings of his arms around me. He keep staring at me, his loving smile melted my heart before I wished this was all a bad dream we'd all wake up and laugh about how strange it was. But now if it is a dream I don't ever want to wake up.

He gently pulled my head up to his he gently placed a kiss my forehead making my body shudder. He smirked

     "am I not getting one?" he teased making my face burn even more in these moments I can really tell him and Anthony are brothers. I forced my eyes shut and gently kissed his check a few stubs of his facial hair gently poked me. His arms tightened around me. He dug his head into the crack of my neck and shoulder.

     "I like you...I know this isn't the best time to tell you but...when the building blew up I was so scared something would have happened to you. And Anthony's been driving me crazy about telling you" my eyes widen

     'ANTHONY KNEW AND DIDN'T TELL ME?!' I thought angry Derek smiled lovingly as he saw my face change to anger. He chuckled and gently cupped my check making my eyes shot back onto him. Our eyes locking

     "I'm happy he didn't tell you I'd kill him if he got to see this look on your face and I couldn't" he chuckled. I smirked finally letting my embarrassment die off. He flinched and gently tightened his grip on me.

     "I wish I could have planed this out better" Derek chuckled making me laugh and gently kiss his check. He smiled and played with some of my hair

     "your telling me" I laughed. He smiled time seemed to stop all together, but I was overjoyed

     "we better go" he said. His voices dropping almost like a child, I giggled and gently moved some of his hair from his face. The loving look in his eyes never changing. I gently opened the door and pocked my head out. I could see Anthony's bed room light on.

 I glanced to the right and saw May had shut the door and the light seemed to be off. I sighed relived and walked out Derek slowly followed behind me.

     "Should we tell them?" Derek said as his fingers gently found their way around mine.

     "Ma-maybe in the morning" I said he smirked and gently kissed my forehead.

     "If you need something in the middle of the night just come get me" he said as he walked over to Anthony's bed room. I felt my face heat up and nodded. He smiled I waved and we both gently pushed the doors opened. Unlike the horror movies the doors didn't squeak open it was shockingly quite.

 I looked inside and could see the body of May sleeping peacefully in the bed. I sighed seeing she didn't wake up. I ran a hand threw my hair and walked over to the window near the other side of the bed. The moon light gently slipped threw the cracks of the wooden blinds.

My fingers gently touched my lips. That felt empty without Derek's on them. Just that thought made my heart pound. I whimpered and hurried to take my jacket off. Letting my skin breath finally I pulled the blankets off and crashed down onto the soft bed.

My hole body felt so hot. Even though I was just wearing my jeans and my bra. I tightly held my pillow and shoved my face into it. Over joyed yet slightly embarrassed. I was just happy to have some kind of normalcy in this crazy nightmare.

 May rolled over and gently pushed me. I giggled but the second my phone rang my heart dropped. I pulled my phone out of my hoodie pocket.

Message Dad

Where are you? do you know how late it is?

I flinched as I sat up. I glanced at May and saw her phone rested on the night stand. I creped over and clicked the power button. I sighed thankful her parents didn't text her. I sat back down and clicked the message.

Julia-sorry I didn't text you! me and everyone have a huge project in the morning so we're all working on it tonight sorry I forgot to tell you

Dad-oh well tell me next time ok?

Julia-yeah sorry dad! love you good night!

Dad-good night love you too

My heart twisted as I re read "Love you too" it felt as if someone had just taken a huge part of me. I dropped my phone and rubbed my eyes. I didn't want to think about it. I slammed my head down and tightly shut my eyes.

I didn't want to think about it anymore. I just wanted some damn rest and thankfully my body was just as tired as the rest of me. It didn't take me long before I feel asleep.
