You were invited out for the weekend to go camping with your best friend, other friends and your best friend's boyfriend along with his friends. Of course, you have met them many times and this was just a little gathering your best friend had made.
The tents were pitched, the food was cooked and right now you were sat on a log by the fire listening to the beautiful sound of strumming on the guitar, of course, Daniel was playing little songs just relaxing underneath the evening sky that was a beautiful pink and blue shade.
"y/n its your turn to choose a song for Daniel to play" Zach smiles sipping on his drink wrapping his arms around y/bff/n they've been dating around 4 months you, of course, loved the couple and thought they suited well, but only they knew about your crush on Daniel, you both click and you both get on well always engaging conversations or cracking jokes at something.
"Do you know pink skies by a group called Lany?" you questioned with a smile as you sipped on hot chocolate and was snuggled into your blanket that you were currently sharing with Daniel as he played away looking so at peace and happy with himself.
"Of course is that even a question?" Daniel laughed shaking his head a little before strumming away humming along to the words though not words were sung just the tune. It was a true bliss evening something you were quite enjoying along with the others.
Corbyn and Jack were eating marshmallows, Jonah was taking photos and making random conversations with the group, Daniel was strumming on the guitar humming away like no tomorrow whilst Zach cuddled your best friend them both being in their own little world of happiness.
As the sun went down, the sky darkened and the stars twinkled under the moonlit night that you truly adored. After a good few hours of eating, drinking and talking you were all pretty much tired accept you weren't though you didn't want to keep people up.
You headed into your tent with one of your friends and climbed into your little camp bed grabbing your phone and looking at the time seeing it had read 1 AM. A small sigh escaped your lips hearing the soft snores of your friend beside you knowing she was completely passed out already.
You went straight to your contacts, your eyes scanning over Daniel's name for a few seconds before typing up a message for him to see.
Y/n: "Daniieelll😝"
Daniel💛: "yyy/nnnn😂"
Y/n: I can't sleep!
Daniel💛: Neither can I
Y/n: Do you maybe wanna go for a walk?
Daniel💛: Yeah that sounds good, I'll meet you by the logs
Without replying you quietly got up slipping your shoes on, grabbing a flashlight and taking your phone with you as you left your tent and walked over to the logs seeing Daniel stood there on his phone scrolling through his phone before he noticed you and looked up greeting you with a smile.
"So where are we going exactly?" Daniel whispers as you both walked further away from the tents and more deeper into the beautiful woods. You turned the flashlights on so you could make your way around enjoying the soft sounds of crickets, birds and the light sound of wind flowing through your ears and tickling your skin.
"Just walking around just something to do without waking anyone up" you smile up at him
Daniel chuckled taking your free hand and intertwining your fingers sending a little playful wink at you which you just returned happily walking with him letting the comfortable silence roll over the pair of you embracing all the nature and outdoors.
A few minutes went by and Daniel stopped walking sitting down on a tree stump moving over for you to sit and join him happily. "You know I'm glad you ended up coming this weekend" he looked down at you his ocean blue eyes sparkling under the moonlight.
"Really? and why's that Seavey?" you tease turning your body completely so it was facing him your hand not leaving his. You wouldn't dare leave the opportunity to push his hand away you wanted his touch you craved having him as yours no matter what it took.
"You're just so amazing y/n everytime we hang out we always have a good time or if one of us isn't then we make sure that we cheer one another up. We have this weird, but amazing bond that I haven't had with a girl before its like I've known you all my life as you know me inside and out, but in reality we have only been hanging around for a good few months" Daniel explained a small blush creeping onto his cheeks though you couldn't quite see it.
The words made the corner of your lips twitch upwards as you nodded your head understandingly staring up at him "I know exactly what you mean! everyone here understands each other sure, but we are on another level we both just can tell when we're having a bad day we know when there's a personality change or if we need to be left alone or need the company and honestly I'm glad that this bond is with you" you felt the heat rising onto your cheeks as you spoke. "I know this crazy Daniel, but why can't try and be something? you and I both know we would make a great couple" you whisper.
Without a single word leaving Daniel's mouth he gently cupped your cheeks and kissed you with every single ounce of love inside him. The passion and desire he had for you radiating off the young boy like he'd been trapping the feelings inside and was finally letting him free like doves exploring the sky.
You kissed back of course with the same amount of love behind it you could see just by the way you kissed him that there was something so special their. You both break away for air and stare into each other's eyes in almost shock before Daniel broke out into a grin.
"I agree with your words.. y/n be mine?" he whispers
"I'd really love that Daniel I'm all yours" you kissed him again.
