You and Daniel were being very traditional when it came to pregnancy you were keeping the gender of a baby as a surprise and you were setting up a home birth instead of going to the hospital you wanted it to be close to home so you didn't have the panic of rushing to hospital plus you wanted to birth your children in the home they'll be growing up.
Daniel had been amazing taking you to every scan, keeping up to date even when he's away. He had been going out in the middle of the night when you've been craving food, held your hair back when you were sick. He's just been amazing and most nights he's home he'll sit and rub your tummy talking to your little bundle of joy that kicked to the sound of his voice.
You were a day away from your due date and you had everything set up ready for the labor Daniel had been with you for the past month making sure that you were okay on the last part of the pregnancy and he's loved every second of it.
Though you had things planned that didn't stop you from being nervous from giving birth it was a scary feeling and thought about giving birth. You always worried that something bad would happen to the baby and you, but you were also so excited to give birth.
You walked into the living room wrapping your arms around Daniel planting a small kiss to his cheek snuggling into him just needing affection. "Morning baby" you mumbled into his shoulder happily.
"Morning baby girl, how did you sleep?" Daniel asks looking at you. "How was our bundle of joy last night" he asks again with a grin on his lips. It felt so surreal to him that he was going to be a father very soon.
"Well lets just say we have on active baby" you mumbled a little "I have felt nothing but our little one move around and sometimes it hurt more than others" you looked up at him though he worried about everything you did he did love hearing how active the baby was.
All night you couldn't get comfortable and you had been having small contractions nothing dramatic, Daniel had a few times written down, but it wasn't close together it was just small little pains every thirty to forty minutes. So you decided to walk around the house last night to get the baby moving and then you and Daniel went for a quick walk to the store so you could grab ice cream, but it wasn't loads of walking.
Plus you've been having a midwife stay recently to keep an eye for you so if you were to go into labor they were there ready to start. You loved having them around giving you advice and tips and checking on you. They had been working well with you and have been advising you to be walking around just keeping the baby active.
"Egar to come" Daniel chuckled pressing a soft kiss to your stomach "its daddy again, be careful with my wife she's fragile" he teases with a grin pressing a few kisses around the bump before planting a gentle kiss to your lips. "I'll make your favorite breakfast".
You smiled watching your husband leave the room you got up walking across the room to grab the remote when you felt a sharp pain the sharpest ones you've had throughout the whole pregnancy. You gripped the coffee table biting your bottom lip before calling Daniel into the room.
He rushed into the room timing your contractions for around an hour he was timing them and they were getting closer and closer together and he had made sure you were okay. You were trying to be pacient.
"You're doing amazing baby" Daniel kissed your temple softly.
"Yeah" you asked before groaning in pain before feeling a trickle down your leg "shit Daniel my water's broke".
Daniel rushed to the midwife letting her check you over before they set up the water bath, they both helped you into the warm water giving you awhile for the water to just soothe some of the pains. Daniel called all both of your parents up and called the boys though he didn't want you to be over crowded so he made sure they'd come after the baby was born.
The Midwife kept checking you over and once you were ready she gave you permission where you pushed and pushed until you gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. You could already feel the tears streaming down your face as small baby cries filled the room.
You watched as Daniel cut the umbilical cord tears down his face he came over to you placing your newborn son on your chest before sitting down beside you kissing your cheek.
"You did amazing princess" he whispers with a smile wiping the happy years from your face planting a gentle kiss to your lips. You looked down at your son admiring his little features watching the little baby. He definitely was Daniel's son he looked just liked him with your features too.
"He's so handsome like his daddy" you whispered crying stroking his tiny little hands.
"Welcome to the world Elliot Daniel Seavey" Daniel whispers looking at him as you grinned at the name. The pair of you came up with the name together, you both loved the idea of having Daniel in his name.
After awhile of you both admiring the baby and taking in his little features listening to the soft little squeaks and baby noise your parents and siblings both came in to greet him then not long after the boys came in.
"Woah congrats guys" Jonah smiles widely taking the little boy into his arms "looks just like you Daniel".
"You know I've always thought it was Jonah to get married and have kids first" Zach teased laughing "though Daniel I'm so proud and happy for you and you too Y/n! congratulations guys"
"Look at his tiny little heads and little feet" Jack coos looking over Jonah's shoulder "shotgun next hold".
"Jack you can't shotgun a baby" Corbyn pouted "when do I get a hold though?".
You laughed watching the four boys coo over the little baby boy in Jonah's arms. You smiled looking at Daniel "I love you so much".
"I love you more" he kisses you softly which you returned.
"Ewww not around me or the baby" Zach whined making you both laugh.
