It was almost 6pm when the motorcycle stopped in front of the club. The sky slowly tracing it's dark blue path leaving a trail of little white dots. There was nothing special about Thursdays. Tsuki liked her job but still, it was a job and for some reason she was feeling restless. If she could she would go to the gym and punch some stuff or better, fight someone. Feeling the bones click after every punch, that's what she needed, to get hit. Pain made everything simpler.

"Yo, Tsuki!" a male voice called out making she look towards it "Wanna play today?"

No answer. He continued.

"Asked Ivy to come today, there's a small birthday party happening..."

"Yeah" that was all she brought herself to reply, leaving the manager with air in his lungs not knowing how to continue.

When empty the club seemed weird, out of place and gigantic. The distance between the bar and the stage felt like a mile, looking at it was like being in the bottom of a cliff.

Where was all those thoughts coming from? What was different today? Nothing came to mind.

In the bar, she placed the helmet under the counter and started cleaning everything; cups, mixers, the floor and the bottle shelves and like clouds moving in the sky her restlessness began to shift away.

"Why you cleaning the shelves, man?"

The guy from the register snapped her out of her neurosis bringing up all the noise and murmur behind her. The club was opened.

"Why didn't you tell me we had opened?" She asked while putting back all the stuff on the shelves.

"It's a fucking club! I thought you'd notice it."

"When is Ivy coming?" She started taking orders. It was nothing compared to Saturday's but it was a bit more crowded than usual.

"I don't know. Later, I guess." the guy answered.

As a small old club in a neighborhood with not many night activities, events like birthdays, bachelors parties happened quite often on weekdays. They were nice, funny sometimes, Tsuki enjoyed the change of air. Watching people from different worlds come together in front of her in that aquarium das curious but today she wasn't feeling like herself.

It was a 21st birthday party for some girl. How did she know? Because the girl came to the bar every 5 minutes wearing a princess tiara followed by a line of screaming girls ordering all types of fluffy drinks.

"Hey!" a feminine voice called from the corner of the counter.

Tsuki was by the register keeping her distance from the drunk teenagers to avoid becoming deaf. Then, out of the blue, she was grabbed by the collar and pulled forward, forced to lean over the counter and sink her face in a sweet scent on someone's neck.

"Hey..." a familiar voice whispered in her ear "Why didn't you answer me when I called you?"

"I didn't hear you."

The girl let go of the collar sliding her hands down to the chest allowing Tsuki to back off only enough so they would be face to face.

"You look terrible today. You sure about going on stage like that?"

A tired side smile escaped Tsuki's lips.

"Thanks, Agni."

Every look they exchanged since the first time they met was a dare to see who would give up and succumb to the pressure. Their relationship was never clarified, feelings were never mentioned and demonstrations of affection in public were prohibited; not that they ever discussed those rules but both knew they existed. It was a long game full of traps set up by Agni.
