'It doesn't fit.' Were Agni's words.

While she took out the A2.6 matte black guitar out of it's suitcase that line came to her mind.

Again, she couldn't remember why she started playing but it was something that interested her for years now. The sound would occupy every dark room in her head, releasing all her anxieties. A tool to get things out of the chest, nothing more nothing less, until Ivy asked her to play in a gig as a replacement. Tsuki didn't join the band, just played occasionally on the club despite all Ivy's efforts to make her a member. It was just a way of filling up the mind and impressing girls.

Because I'm easy come, easy go
A little high, little low

Looking down to the a monochromatic crowd of girls, she found her. Glowing caramel hair and burning eyes sitting at the bar with a serious expression looking straight to the girl playing guitar but still far away, lost in thoughts.

'Am I that bad?'

Bugged by Elena's look, she put out her best to cause an impression. Notes flowing within her veins. Every chord resonating in her chest. It was a trip to a different world, a moment where Tsuki ceased to exist and the song took her place expressing her soul through that instrument.

I got nobody left to believe in

It was over. Tsuki finally opened her eyes a bit confused. Girls screaming and applauses everywhere. Ivy was closing and thanking the birthday girl. Instinctively her eyes looked in Elena's direction, it took a second to focus in the empty sit in front of the counter. Even though she knew exactly where the girl had sat she scanned the entire place from up the stage. Nothing. Elena was gone.

With the show over around 3am the band started to take down the instruments.

"She left early..." Ivy said approaching Tsuki on the back of the stage.

She lustrated the guitar laid in her lap. Up and down the curved body with the most gentle touch, careful not to cause any damage. It was hypnotizing, Tsuki was lost in her thoughts but actually nothing went through her mind.

"Tsuki!"

Ivy punched her shoulder to snap her out of whatever was happening.

"What do you want?" she barked.

"Don't be sad. You'll see her again." Ivy sat down by her side and Tsuki went back to cleaning the guitar.

"It's not about that." it was important not to meet Ivy's eyes because once they did she'd know everything and her act would fall instantly. So she kept her eyes down, like always.

When trapped Tsuki would shut down her feelings and do the impossible to get out of the situation. Every time Ivy pressed her to talk about something she didn't want to they got into a fight. They were both explosive, of course punches happened occasionally but they were forgotten as fast as they started. So Ivy knew better then to push her to talk.

"So... thanks for lending me the guitar. I'll pay you back."

"With what?"

"My body shall do."

"Get out of here!"

A flicker sideline smile showed up on Tsuki's lips, it was enough to make her feel better. She was worked up because of Elena but there was no reason for her to be so upset. They were nothing to each other. Elena was just some curious girl that got carried away by the hero syndrome. The right thing to do was to forget, no good would come from being all gloomy and shit because of what exactly?
