Milo

Skye's POV

Pagkalabas namin ng guidance office.

"I'm going." -Aria

"San ka pupunta??"

"Aalis na." Aria said leaving.

Aba, aalis nga talaga.

"Sandali lang." I said pulling her hand.

Damn, not again.

Her hand feels so light and soft.

Kaya nga kanina nung hinihila ko siya sa guidance office.

Parang nakalimutan ko na hawak ko ang kamay niya kaya medyo tumagal.

"Bakit?" -Aria

"Yung pinapagawa ng GC."

"Oh that, nagbibiro ka lang naman dun di ba? I can manage don't worry. You don't have to show me around. Papasama na lang ako kay Shin." -Aria

"No way." sabi ko na medyo mataas ang boses.

"Huh?" -Aria

Bakit nga ba ako humindi?

Ayaw mo nun Skye mapapadali ang buhay mo.

"Kasi its my responsibility to do it. And I already gave my word that I will guide you around the academy."

Tama yun nga ang dahilan. Trabaho lang, walang personalan.

"Sigurado ka??" Aria said raising her eyebrow.

"Yes, I don't go back on my words. That's my principle, kaya wala ka ng magagawa."

"Whatever." Aria said walking away again.

"Ano pang inaantay mo jan?? We don't have the whole day. Lets go." -Aria

"Tsk, papayag din pala." I whispered as we begin to walk around the campus.

Walang masyadong students dahil nasa respective classes sila ngayon.

We were free to roam around the school without anyone bothering us.

I was explaining the different buildings and programs in the school.

Nang mapansin ko na wala na pala akong kausap.

Where did she go??

Hinanap ko siya kung san san ng may narinig ako na.

Meow...

Meow...

Meow...

I followed the sound and saw it at the back of the building.

Its Aria holding a black kitten.

"What are you??"

"Ssshhh. Keep your voice down. Tinatakot mo yung kuting." she said while petting the kitten in her hands.

I look at it, its just a small kitten. Almost like a newborn.

"Asan yung nanay?"

"I don't know. I just found her in the box." -Aria

She looks a little loss.

"You should put her back."

"Pero kawawa naman siya." Aria looked at me.

"So you like cats?"

"Yes. I love them, they are so cuddly and cute." -Aria

"Why don't you take it home? Parang may nagiwan naman."

"I can't" -Aria

"Why?"

"Pets are not allowed at home. May hika kasi ako nung bata. So pinagbawal." -Aria

"May hika ka? And you still like cats??"

"Cats make you feel loved and they need love in return." -Aria

She looks relax while saying that.

"Ok wait here." I said and run to get something.

After a few minutes.

"What is that??" -Aria

"Blanket and milk." I said breathing hard.

Kapagod tumakbo.

"Where did you get it?" -Aria

"Somewhere. Don't ask. Just use it."

She smiled a bit.

And take the blanket.

"Here" she said handing me the kitten.

"Wait. Di ko alam."

And she still did it.

Im currrently holding the kitten in my hands.

I can feel it breathing in my hands.

"Wag ka masyadong ma-tense, just relax your hold and rub her chin. Cats love that." -Aria

I did what she said.

Meow.

"See, she likes you." -Aria

I stayed silent and focus on the her.

Aria fixed the blanket in the box as i go and feed the kitten some milk.

Aria made her way beside me.

"Gutom siya, naubos niya agad yung gatas." I said innocently.

"Then we should call her milky." -Aria

"Milky?? Pero she is black."

"Racist ka huh. What do you want to call her then." -Aria

"I dont know. Something like Milo."

Meow...

"Ohh, she likes it. Milo is a good name." -Aria

Meow...

I smiled unconciously.

"You finally smiled. Si Milo lang pala makakapagpangiti sayo." -Aria

I just look at her. She is smiling at me.

Closing bell rings...

I was surprised and look at my watch.

Its already 5:00.

Meaning uwian na.

Ang bilis ng oras, I didnt even noticed na hapon na pala.

"Uwian na?" -Aria

"Huh?? Oo."

"Di ko napansin ang oras. Well I need to go. Bye Milo." she says and kisses Milo's head.

Then she walks away but turned around and said.

"Oo nga pala. Thanks sa tour Skye. Bye bye." sabi niya and walked away.

I stayed there for a few minutes and put Milo back in the box.

"I will be back tomorrow ok Milo."

I laughed to myself.

Nababaliw na ba ako? Bakit ko ba kinakausap ang isang kuting.

Milo just says meow... meow...

Paano mo naman matitiis yun di ba??

I went home smiling in a long time.
