Just Smile

Gab's POV

(This is the time nung lumabas yung school paper, lets go to Gab's pov)

I smiled when I see the school paper.

Sana makatulong to sa paghahanap ni Shin ng manager.

Alam ko na magtatago na lang ako sa locker room to surprise him.

Kaya po ako napunta sa loob ng isang locker. Di po ako naninilip to make that clear.

Pagpasok ni Shin sa locker wala pa siyang kaalam alam sa nangyayari.

Nung na brief na siya ni Kevin. Sumigaw siya ng "Gab!", napalabas tuloy ako ng locker to face him.

"What did you do again??" Shin said calmly.

If he is this calm, ibig sabihin nagpipigil na siya ng galit. Parang bulkan lang na nagaalburoto, tapos biglaan na sasabog.

"Gusto ko lang naman tumulong kaya ko pinublish na kailangan niyo ng manager." I said seriously.

"And what the hell did I say yesterday." He suddenly said.

I backed away a little and whispered "Sorry".

"What would your sorry do? The damage has been done. Ngayon kailangan ko nanaman linisin ang kalat mo." -Shin

I bite my lips to stop myself from crying and turns away to leave.

I run away, to my safe haven.

As I arrive at the rooftop I started to cry.

"Ikaw naman kasi Gab eh, ang kulit mo kasi. Kasalanan mo lahat." I shouted.

I lay down covering my eyes with my arm. As tears continue to flow down my cheeks.

I don't know how much time passed, but my tears already dried out when I felt someone sat beside me.

He didn't have to say a word, I already know who he is. He is always there and he has the talent of finding me, wherever I hide.

Just like old times.

☆ Flashback

Nung mga bata pa lang kami, mahilig na kami magtaguan.

And everytime, Skye finds me. Di ko alam kung paano.

"Paano mo nanaman ako nahanap??" I always ask him.

"Secret." He just said and smile.

☆ Back to present

As I sat down, wala siyang sinabi or tinanong man lang. He just stayed silent and hug me.

At first I was struggle a little at his hold, but he just hug me tightly.

I lean my head to his chest and silence took over. Even with the unspoken words, I know what he wants to say.

I just whispered "salamat"

"Di mo ba tatanungin kong anong nangyari??"

"No need, isa lang naman iniiyakan mo eh." Skye said confidently.

I look at him...

"You really know me that well. Ahhh, buti ka pa. Di tulad niya..." -Gab

He whispered something in his breath "Sana nga.."

I didnt hear what the other words are though.

"Huh? May sinasabi ka??"

"Wala, sabi ko hinahanap ka niya." -Skye

"Talaga??"

"Kinilig ka naman, oo nga. Kanina pa siya hanap ng hanap. Pagod na pagod na nga yung tao eh. Pumili ka naman kasi ng pagtataguan na madali kang mahanap." -Skye

"Whe di nga? Imposible galit yun sa akin eh."

"Dahil ba dito??" He said with the school paper in his hand.

"Paano mo nalaman??"

"Syempre naman, ako yata President. I should know all the things happening." -Skye

"Sige ikaw na magaling. Arrggg i really messed up haven't I?"

Nagulat na lang ako ng bigla niyang punitin yung school paper.

"There problem solved." He simply say.

"Huh? Panong problem solved? Nagpunit ka lang, ok na agad??"

"Yup, that's how you do it. If you created a problem. Then you should be the one to make it disappear." -Skye

"Easy for you to say. I don't really know what to do and to top it all of galit pa sakin kapatid mo."

"You know him, hindi niya kayang magalit sayo. Kung galit siya, eh di hindi sana siya takbo ng takbo kakahanap sayo." -Skye

I smiled unconciously.

"Salamat talaga Skye huh. Ok na ako. I just need to fix the problem I created. And I know just how to do it. Pero for now kain muna tayo. Gutom na ako ehh."

→ Canteen

Habang kumakain kami ni Skye biglang may tumawag sa pangalan ko.

"Gab!" -Aria

I looked at the person who called me.

And there he is standing there with her at the entrance.

"Andito ka pala, kanina ka pa namin hinahanap ni Shin" -Aria

"Ahh, oo nagutom kasi kami ni Skye. Magkasama pala kayo?" I said looking at them but looks away when our eyes met.

Aria was saying some things, but my mind was flying and thinking of different things.

Why?? Bakit sila magkasama. Akala ko ba...

"We are actually in the middle of a meeting. Kaya kung di naman masyadong importante, pwede bukad na lan?" Skye said that made me get back to reality.

I hold Skye's arm and said

"Skye ok lang. Tungkol san ba yun??"

"Ahh, that was uhhh. Wala, di ko na maalala. Kanina pa kayo magkasama?" -Shin

"Yes, I found her sleeping and..." -Skye

Bago pa matuloy ni Skye sasabihin niya. Binatukan ko na ang loko.

"Aray! Para saan yun??" -Skye

"Ahh, may lamok kasi. Hahaha. Peace."

Skye and I was having our mini argument when.

"Uyy, Shin pagabi na pala. Kailangan na natin umalis, may pupunthan pa tayo di ba?" Aria said holding Shin.

Close na agad sila??

"May pupuntahan kayo??"

"Oo nga pala, buti pinaalala mo. Kita kits na lang bukas." Shin said swiftly and turns to walk away.

I just look at them leaving. Malamang pigilan ko di ba?? Drama naman nun.

Skye stayed silent and held my hand.

"Uwi na tayo?" -Skye

I nod.

Hangang sa ihatid ako ni Skye sa bahay.

Pagkadating ko sa kwarto.

I looked at the mirror and tried to smile while a single tear found its way to my cheek.

As I say to myself, Just smile Gab, everything will be allright.
