Maddie's POV:
Steve And I woke up at the same time which is odd I always woke up before him. We ordered breakfast ate it and then headed home. When we arrived Maggie was already at school Theo left a note saying Maggie slept fine and that she'll see us later. I went into the room and started packing some things.
Steve: "Are we breaking up?"
Me: "Oh no honey. I'm going home for Noah's funeral."
Steve: "Oh would you like me to go with you?"
Me: "No it's fine you should stay with Maggie."
Steve: "Call me when you get there."
Me: "I will I love you very much."
I hugged and kissed Steve. I pulled away and left a note on Maggie's bed.
I'll be gone for a few days I'll be back soon be good for your father. I love you. ~Maddie
I said goodbye to Steve one last time and headed out. Knowing it was a bad idea because Maggie could have nightmares but I really need to be there for my mom. I headed to the airport hopped on a plane and headed home.
