-Chapter 10

Michael's POV

"Shayla did you deliver everything? Was everything right with the gifts I sent? Was she..." She cuts me off.

"Okay Mr. Matteson I'm gone need you to take a breath and relax." Shayla says looking at me crazy.

I sighed and let out a breath I've been holding since Shayla got back from Ivy's condo "yes everything was delivered and the gifts were more than right because she cried." She says pulling up a video on her iPad since everyone in the company has one.

The video was of my girls opening their gifts and Ivy crying "mommy why you cry?" Asia asks while holding Ivy's face in her hands, I smiled at the moment.

"I'm just happy baby, that's why mommy is crying." Ivy says then the video cuts off.

"See you did good now can I please go and I know you only sent me because that's my friend." Shayla says standing up, I nodded my head and she left my office.

After a while I went back to work when I got facetime call on my MacBook. "Michael speaking" I say not looking up at the screen.

"Hi Michael it's Dani Ivy's mom" She says I look up and there is Mrs. Owens waving, I stopped working.

"Um hi Mrs. Owens how....." She cuts me off

"Call me Dani."

"Okay Dani how may I assist you."

"Oh I just wanted to say thank you for these beautiful gifts and that I love my new china set." She says smiling really hard making me smile.

"Those gifts are my apology for everything I did to Ivy." I say packing up my office.

"Well thank you again we really appreciate the gifts." She says smiling "Okay I'll talk to you later Michael." Dani says hanging up.

After talking to Dani I decided to head out and take my girls out.

Ivy's POV

Asia and I are sitting at home watching movies and waiting on Ashley to bring our food "mommy?" Asia ask looking at me.

"Yes baby?"

"Daddy?" She says getting off the couch and grabbing my phone and handing it to me. I facetimed Michael and he answered on the fourth ring.

"'How are my girls?"

"Hi daddy!" Asia says waving at him.

"Hi baby girl what are you and mommy doing?" He asked looking back at the road

"Michael are you driving?" I ask pausing our movie.

"Yes I'm own my way somewhere."

"Okay call when you are at your destination and not driving." I say about to hang up.

"Okay then open the door?" He says then hung up and then I hear a knock at the door.

I open the door and there Michael stand with a dozen yellow roses and a gift bag. "Michael we have way more then enough gifts. Asia's room is filled with new toys that she doesn't need because she barely plays with." I say closing the door as he walked in.

"These gifts are to see if you and Asia will go out with me tonight?" He asked handing me the roses and handing the gift bag to Asia.

"What do say Asia are we going out with daddy tonight?" I ask Asia and she nods her head up down saying yes. I sighed "I guess we go get dressed." I say picking Asia up and heading up stairs.
