To escape the rules

Chapter 1 :Trapped

In fairy tales princes save princesses locked away in some forgotten mystical forest, in some forgotten tower and there is always a happy ending. But where I live it's only a mere dream that knowone ever thinks about. Well thats a lie I've only checked with myself as I have never seen another human being.

In my world any contact with another being, even eye contact, is forbidden. Tough ey, well that's not the only rule, we are not aloud to feel emotion. In other words be boring, selfless maybe you could even say lifeless. Life is tough, we get locked in rooms at birth and looked after by machines not knowing who are parents are. Well they wouldn't even know each other because the machines just take the stuff from boys and do the same with girls then they put them together. Gross, I know but at the same time clever.

By the way, I'm Amber and I'm 13. i've been locked up for what now feels like eternity. However I will spend abit of time away from my prison when i turn 16, a wonderful number. But I'm not saying that I favour it from the rest as that would be an emotion! When I turn 16 I will take some tests and after the the core will assign my job. Unfortunately, for now i will stay in here playing the same games on my smartscreen and doing other ordinary things. i sat down bored of my life when i had a fun, mischievous idea. i lay on my smartbed thinking of a plan to escape but only to look around pheonix ( the building i live in).i only know thats what it's called as it's branded on my arm along with some other important information that has to be known:

This I think is the same on everyone else but I will never know. But i may if someone else thinks of the same plan.
