Adam POV
"Bye" is the last thing she says before leaving my room. I had no time to reply as the door shut too quickly. Oops I forgot to jam the door slightly open so I could go out into the corridor.
That is only place that I feel at least a bit free, as I am free to roam the corridor. One falt the core made is to not put cameras in the corridors. But I likeit that way. Just a bit of privacy.
I such a lucky guy I think. I have a friend who is on the way to being more than a friend. I have a place to be free , which is a big bonus and I have a life. And it isn't just sitting around all day like a lemon. (as my parents say lol :)
I suddenly feel all woozy and tired as though all that has happened today has just been too much for my brain to cope with.
As this is only the first time I have seen another being,well that isn't absolutely true.
***Flash back ***
I just had to go out there again to feel free once more. The best feeling ever freedom, it makes me feel like I am living a normal life. Whatever that is anyway.
I caustically walked to the door even though I had covered all the cameras as I felt as though someone was watching me.
I was right but not in the way I thought. I slowly prized the door open to reveal the plain corridor I have learned to love.
But there in front of me was another being, the same type as me but bigger more muscular.
He just stared at me as if I wasn't there, then all of a sudden a small grin played on his face.
"I've been waiting for someone to have the guts to come out"he says looking at me.
"W well I j just got bored "I stuttered as my hands shook uncontrollably.
"No need to worry dude, by the way my name's Josh and my room is here "he said hitting the door opposite me.
I breathed a sigh of relief "mine's Adam"I say a smile starting to form on my lips "wanna be friends"
He smiled at me and nodded his head. I new from then I was going to like him.
We messed around and chatted in the corridor the same time every day. Until Josh just stopped showing up and I've been wondering the corridor alone ever since.
*** end of flash back***
In all this time I never realised that I had fallen asleep.
