Neo wakes up in Chase's arms. After the day at the lake, Neo and Chase take Silver around the town, laughing and giggling. Then, she literally have to sneak Chase through the window inside her room. She slowly shifts and turns around. She studies Chase seriously and she could feel the slight aura that she felt around 'The Sons of Ipswich', but Neo decides to brush it off and kisses his nose.
"Wake up sleepy head", she says.
"But I don't wanna wake up", he says sleepily and lazily.
"It's Monday. We have class and you have to get back to your room", says Neo. Chase moves on top of her and gives her a breathless kiss.
"I'll see you in class then?", he asks and Neo nods. Chase kisses her one more time before gathering up his clothes and leaves through the window. Neo gets up to see him go before heading to shower. She gets ready for class and when she meets up with Sarah and Kate, both of them are snickering.
"Do I look funny today?", asks Neo.
"I was opening the window when I saw Chase jumping out of your window", says Kate.
"So..., New Guy and New Girl?", says Sarah.
"Excuse me, you're new here too", says Neo. The three of them giggle before heading to class. Neo meets up with him during the last two periods and sits next to him, which immediately confirms Sarah and Kate's suspicion, but during the lesson, a girl comes in and hands the teacher a note, which he reads,
"Miss Grayson, you're wanted in the provost's office".
"I'll pass the homework later", says Chase. Neo nods and gets up to leave. She follows the girl to the provost office. Once she's there, there's a woman facing away from her.
"Ah, Neo is it? You have a visitor", says the provost. The woman reveals to be her grandmother, Mina Grayson.
"Grandma!!", Neo greets her grandmother with a hug, "What are you doing here? Where's dad and grandpa?".
"Hello to you too my dear", says Mina, "Your father and grandfather have this business meeting in London and I got bored. So I call them and tell them I would be coming to visit you".
"You're..., alone?", Neo asks. She knows how much her grandmother values to her grandfather and with The Order on the loose, looking for them, she worries for her grandmother's safety.
"No, of course not! Did you really think your grandfather would let me off on my own now? I brought Renfield with me. He's at the car", says Mina. She turns to the provost and says, "Do you mind she skips one class? I miss her dearly".
"Of course, but she has to finish her work on time", says the provost.
"Oh I don't think we have to worry about that. Neo is a good child", says Mina.
"But I'm curious...", says the provost, "You're the grandmother? So young...".
"Well, my family still maintains in marrying at a young age and I was lucky to meet a man like Alexander. Well, as for my youthful looks, it's simply natural beauty", says Mina, "Are we free to go?".
"Y-yes, of course", says the provost. Mina and Neo walk out snickering.
"If grandpa was there, he'd rip the provost's throat", says Neo.
"Ugh, please, not my cup of tea...", says Mina.
"Why? Too old?", asks Neo, sarcastically, "Need I remind you that your husband is old too".
"Yes, but he's wise and I am meant for him. Your headmaster..., is just not my taste. Reminds me of Mr. Browning, but the provost is nicer", says Mina, recalling her life during the Victorian Era, "So, tour time!!". Neo brings Mina all over the campus until she bumps with 'The Sons of Ipswich' and Chase. Neo could feel the low growl within Mina even when she covers it with a smile.
"I thought you said your mum passed away", says Chase.
"This is my grandmother, actually...", says Neo and the boys gave her a shocking look.
"YOUR GRANDMOTHER??!!!", says the boys in unison.
"Pleasure, boys", says Mina with a fake smile, "Now, if you can excuse us, I would like to spend time with my granddaughter for a while". She pulls Neo away and Chase and Neo's hands make a slight contact before Mina pulls her away. Neo brings her to the garden and makes sure it's empty and the place is secure to talk
"Please tell me you felt that aura, grandma", says Neo.
"Yes, I can...", says Mina, "Who are they?".
"Kate calls them 'The Sons of Ipswich'. Their families are among the original that lived her centuries ago", says Neo, "But the one that knows my mother has passed is Chase".
"Promise me Neo that you would steer away from 'The Sons of Ipswich'", says Mina, "Who knows where their alliegence to or how powerful they are?".
"I promise, grandma", says Neo. Mina hugs her and kisses her forehead.
"Now..., tell me about Chase", says Mina with a mischievous smile.
