Kristen Johnson

11:54 AMI'm at school, in government class, all the way in the back, away from the loud kids and the teacher.
I just woke up from a small nap and now I'm texting the guys in the group chat they added me to.
There's a sub today and everyone's doing whatever they want while a movie is playing.
It's the second week of school and I was only stared at last week cause I was the new girl. Now people walk and look right by me like I'm not even there. I don't have a problem with it at all cause it just means I don't have to worry about walking around with someone and being bugged about talking to more people.
People seem to forget things quickly at this school. Last week there was a rumor going around about some really popular girl being pregnant. Now people don't even talk about it just how they don't say a thing about me.
Once again, not complaining.
Today's one of those days when the teachers don't wanna teach so they just show movies.
I asked Jonah if he could pick me up saying it's an emergency and now he's on his way here.
About 15 minutes passed until I was asked by someone on the overhead speaker to go to the office.
A bunch of "whose that?" and "I've never heard of her" came from around the room. Once I got up to leave people stopped mumbling and just stared at me with the most confused faces.
When I entered the office I saw Jonah quickly turn his head to look at me and smile.
Once I was able to leave we walked out of the office and we hugged then we both ran out the gates to my car.
"Zach's waiting for you" Jonah said while we reversed out of the parking space
"Uhm...why?" I asked
"We haven't seen you in 2 weeks and he really missed you yanno since-"
"Yeah I know"
"So hows school" he asked
"It's been ok, I guess" I respond
"Ok?" He asks
"Yeah. I'm not really acknowledged or made fun of so its ok" I say
"Acknowledged?" He asks
"Yeah, yanno when people don't really pay much attention to your presence" I say "people just walk right by me. But I'm fine with it. I don't want nor like attention"
"Oh well...that's kinda weird honestly" he says
"I mean yeah for you cause I opened up to you so easily. You're the most mature from the guys and I felt like you would respect and acknowledge my feelings" I say while looking out the window
"I do. I really do. I promise" he said
"You're like my big brother, Jonah"
