For the past few days I've been going to work and making deliveries. But for some reason Zach always called for delivery every two days.
Each time I've told Thomas to make the deliveries and each time he tried to convince me to go but I never did.
Today's Wednesday and it's a slow day so there was a lot of time to think.
Suddenly the blue eyed boy came to mind. Then so did Zach.
As if on cue there was a call and Thomas being closest to the phone picks it up.
He does the "Hello, Domino's Pizza what can I get for you" and proceeds with the order.
"Uh huh" he says looking at me from the corner of his eyes.
He hangs up and says "Are you sure you don't wanna take this"
I think for a while.
"Sure, I'll take it today"
As I wait for the pizza I go on my phone to pass time.
"He'll want to start a conversation. Just saying"
Thomas says handing me the pizza.I walk out to my car and enter the address into my phone and start driving to the house.
I park in the same spot as I did last time and start walking to the door.
Before I get there I see Zach opening the door with excitement.
"Hello Kristen" he says smiling
"Hello Zach" i say in return
"You finally wanted to see me again, I see"
"no it's just a slow day and i was bored"
"Oh um so how much?" he asks pointing to the pizza.
"6.72" I say
He hands me a five dollar bill with a single one telling me to keep the change.
"So can we maybe hang out sometime?" he asks
I start thinking.
If I say no he'll keep asking me.
But if I say yes he'll ask me again.
Since he'll ask me again either way I say yes.
"Cool. So what time are you off?" He asks
"10" I say blankly
"How about you come back here when you're off and we can talk and get to know each other?"
"Sure."
"Ok see you then best friend" he says excitedly while offering a high five.
I shake my head at his excitement walking away.
"Ok see you later" he says
I get in my car and drive off.
