Short 4: Out of The Darkness

  I felt the pain shimmering it's way up my leg, throbbing at the wound. I look down but, it's so dark I can hardly see it. I noticed something warm was running down into my eyebrow. I lifted my hand to wipe it feeling the sore muscles in my arm. When I slowly pulled my hand back down I saw the blood.

  Realization hit, how-what happened to me? Fear grew through me as tears came to my eyes; the adrenaline leaving my body. I squinted looking around, clearing up my vision. I saw light by the floor that seemed to be under a door.

  I stumbled towards it afraid to see the other side. I felt around for the doorknob; I twisted it. It was so cold compared my body heat. It popped open and the bright light burned holes in my eyes. I shut them quickly tilting my head down, when I opened them I saw the blood..running down my leg coming from a hole that looked similar to a bullet wound. I looked up and what I saw froze my feet to the floor. I gasped harshly causing needles to stab at the back of my throat. The person behind the gun pointed right between my eyes smiled right before I heard the click.

  Then..there was nothing..
