"tae, what are you doing?", i said hiding my smile. i was actually not really in the mood to smile but with my brother standing in front of me dressed as rose from titanic i couldn't hold it in. "this is jungwoo's costume for the halloween party tomorrow. and jaehyun is jack. i just think i look way prettier than jungwoo does", taeyong explained whilst turning and posing in front of the mirror. "you just want jaehyun to hold you like jack held rose", i smirked. "so? why can't a boy want to be held by another boy?!", taeyong grinned when he saw me laughing. "but on another note: what are you gonna dress up as?", he said and came walking over to me to sit next to me on the floor of the practice room. "oh, i don't think i'm going", i said and lowered my head. "oh, come on! you have to! this is almost tradition for the sm artists! you can't just go because a stupid boy doesn't see how great you are!", he began throwing a fit and i knew i could only stop him by saying that i'll go. "okay, fine. i just don't have a costume..." "yes, you do", taeyong answered and i knew what he had in mind. "there's no way i'll wear this sailor venus costume from two years ago!", i protested. "you could still go naked then....", taeyong trailed off and i sighed. sailor venus it is then....

"wow, girls! your costumes look awesome!", yeri yelled over the loud music. i looked around my group members and was greeted by five other sailors. luna battled with jiyu over sailor moon and ended up winning so jiyu decided to go as sailor mercury. soomy dressed up as sailor pluto and eolin as sailor mars. with kian being sailor neptune and me being sailor venus the squad was perfect. "i can only confirm that", jaehyun suddenly came walking up to us and his eyes landed on me. wow, he looked hot as jack. i mean, jaehyun is like an older brother to me since the first time i met him but there's no denying that he's hot. and there's also no denying that when jung jaehyun looks at you the way he does now that your legs go weak. 

and then the devil appeared and ruined everything.

"oh, hey girls, didn't know you were coming as well", he said without even taking a glance at me. "you look good", he continued and finally his eyes met mine for a second before he quickly averted them again. did this mean something?

"hey, haneul, can we talk for a second?", a voice interrupted my conversation with jeno. "of course, jaehyun, what's up?" "let's go somewhere a little more...private", he smirked and i raised my eyebrows in surprise but followed him anyways. we entered an empty corridor quite far from the main hall and jaehyun smiled at me again. "you look good today. actually, you look good every day. every day i see you i get these thoughts. i won't dare say them out loud because they will destroy your image of me but i just wanted you to know. but that's not the reason why i wanted to talk to you. well, it is partly. i had a crush on you, haneul. i had this massive crush on you where i would think of you every day and every night. i know it sounds stupid but it's true. but that crush went away when i saw how you looked at him. how you looked at mark. you were smiling whenever you saw him. and he was smiling whenever he saw you. every time you came over to visit taeyong, he wouldn't shut up about you afterwards. he wouldn't shut up about you after your shootings and he still doesn't shut up about you. haneul, i know that he acts like he hates you but i can see it in his eyes. don't give up on trying to persuade him to believe you. i didn't want to give up my crush on you for nothing!", jaehyun joked trying to lift the atmosphere. 

"you...you had a crush on me?", was the only thing i was able to get out after processing everything that jaehyun had said. "yes, but i noticed that you and mark fit way better than we would, so i gave you up. it's okay, though, i kinda like someone else now", he answered whilst scratching his neck. "tell me! i want to know so that i can set you up to apologise for never noticing it!", i almost yelled and jaehyun laughed. 

"fine. i'm only gonna say so much: it's one of your band mates!", he confessed and made his way back to the main hall.

"is it soomy? or kian? no, wait, eolin! jiyu? omg, it's luna!", i ran after him and only heard him laughing. "i won't tell you!", this made me groan.
