Chapter 8: So Weird

It was Saturday morning and I woke up to a text message. 

From: DJ Malik

Morning sunshine! Want to grab some breakfast from McDonald's with me?

To: DJ Malik

sure i'm starved

great pick u up in 30

My eyes widened and I quickly jumped into the shower. I blowdried my hair then strightned it, I decided to leave it down. I threw on the first clothes I grabbed.

I quickly did my make-up then I ran downstairs just as the doorbell rang. I opened the door and smiled "hey Zayn". "Hey Clara nice shirt" Zayn said with a smirk. I quickly looked down to make sure it wasn't a One Direction t-shirt and sighed when it wasn't. "Well it's true! I do love british accents. Blame my love of Harry Potter" I said laughing. Zayn smiled shaking his head. "Come on lets go eat". "You sound like Niall" I said with a smirk. "I had to fight off Niall this morning. He only let me go after I promised to bring him back food" Zayn said shaking his head, I started laughing. We climbed into the car and Paul drove us to a little cafe. "I'll be back in an hour. You two have fun" Paul said then he left.  Zayn and I sat down at a table and ordered some drinks. We made small talk until our food arrived. Zayn ordered something to go for Niall then we started eating. Once we finished we were given our bill. Zayn quickly took it and put his credit card inside. He gave it to the waiter and he walked away, I looked at Zayn in shock. "Zayn" I exclaimed in shock "what" Zayn asked innocent. "You could've at least let me pay for my food" I answered, Zayn smiled " I didn't want you to pay". The waiter came back with the recepit and Niall's food then left. "So Clara can I ask you a question" Zayn said. "Sure" I replied. "Will go to a movie premier with me next week as my date" Zayn asked, I looked at him in shock. "You want me to go" I asked in shock, Zayn smiled and nodded. "Liam's going with Danielle, Niall with a childhood friend named Mary, I'm pretty sure Louis is going with Ally, and Harry's going with Brittany" Zayn said. "Please Clar" he gave me the puppy dog eyes causing me to gave me. "Ok ok" I said with a smile. Zayn cheered and gave me a huge hug. "Come on lets get this food to Niall" Zayn said. We got in the car and went to 1D's house.

The rest of the week went by in a blur and before I knew it I was shopping for a dress with Ally. We shopped for a good 4 hours. When I finally got home Zayn called me. "Hello" I answered in a tired voice. "Hey Clara you ok" Zayn asked. "Yeah i'm fine. I just got done shopping for four hours for that premier on Saturday" I answered, Zayn laughed. "Sucks for you I only need the color of your dress and my stylest will do the rest". I rolled my eyes and told him the color of my dress. "Thanks love. I'll talk to you later ok" Zayn said. "Alright bye" I said "bye". I put my things away, took a shower, changed into some pjs, then went to sleep.

Finally the day came and I was a bundle of nerves. Ally came over to help me with my hair and make up which I was grateful for. I got in the shower then we went to work.

We finished just in time because as soon as Ally finished putting on my make-up I got a text message from Zayn saying they were here. I carefully walked down the stairs and Ally opened the door. I locked it then we went to the car, no excuse me LIMO. I opened the door and got inside Ally right behind me. I sat next to Zayn and Ally sat next to Louis. We made introductions and Mary went back to glaring at Niall and Danielle stayed as far away from Brittany as she possibly could. "Um why is Mary glaring at Niall" I whispered. "I am glaring at Niall because I let him choose my outfit like the idoit I am" Mary said, I blushed. "Aw babe come on. You look gorgeous" Niall said with a smile, she pouted. "That's not the point" she mumbled no longer mad. Niall chuckled and kissed her cheek.
