Jaehyun's excessive knocking was heard just outside the bedroom door. Jungwoo faintly opened his eyes, and to his surprise, saw no Lucas laying next to him.

The room was quite dimly lit by the rising sun visible beyond the diaphanous curtains. He sat up to scan the room for his lover, all to no avail. Ignoring the knocking, Jungwoo vaguely whispered, "Lucas?"

There was no response.

He threw back his blankets and got out of bed, immediately becoming severely lightheaded. His vision blurred temporarily until returning to normal. Confused but scant, he set back out on his "quest."

Jungwoo opened the bedroom door, being met by Jaehyun. They stood there in awkward silence before he held his hand out. "I know it's really early but I need money for groceries."

He rolled his eyes and went back to grab his wallet, giving him $30. He watched as the older male waddled off and out of his house.

Despite his following desperate attempts, he couldn't seem to find Lucas. Jungwoo had searched almost everywhere: in their bedroom, both bathrooms, the living room, the kitchen, and the garage. The last place he would need to check would be outside.

He slowly creaked open the front door, only to sure enough find Lucas sitting in a porch chair in his pajamas. He rushed to get a blanket and covered him in it.

"Oh gosh, at least cover yourself! It's freezing!"

"Sorry."

Jungwoo looked down at him. "Are you okay baby?" He asked, fixating himself in Lucas' lap and under the blanket.

Lucas cuddled him to the max, most likely because of the cold. "I was just bored."

"You didn't stay with me, though." He pouted.

The latter smiled. "I didn't know I meant that much."

He hit him playfully and kissed his lips. "You're stupid if you don't know how much I love you."

"Mm, let's go back inside," Lucas said with a dorky smile plastered on his face.

The two went inside the house and cuddled on the couch for a bit until Jungwoo began coughing. Although it was a small action, Lucas began overlooking it.

"Are you alright? Are you sick? Do you want me to get medicine?"

Jungwoo laughed at his hysteria and tried to enjoy the moments he was spending with his lover. However, they were yet again interrupted by his coughing. Lucas then took matters into his own hands and got the thermometer out of the cabinet.

He first felt the older's forehead with his own. "Yes...you do feel a bit hot." He forced Jungwoo to use the thermometer, resulting in a 101.2. Lucas carressed his cheek. "You poor baby." He had Jungwoo lay down on the couch while he got cold medicine and water.

Truthfully, the latter really didn't feel great. It was mostly his throat and sleepiness that bothered him, despite having just woken up.

Lucas came back to him, lovingly aiding him with taking the cough syrup and pills. Once completed, he wrapped him up in the blanket.

Soon, there was a knock on the door. Behind it was Taeyong and Renjun, who came over like they usually did. Because Jaehyun worked, he often didn't get to tag along.

Taeyong looked beyond Lucas. "Is that Jungwoo on the couch?"

"Who else would it be?"

He didn't answer, but instead walked inside the house and sat next to Jungwoo.

"God, you're pale." Taeyong kept feeling his skinny arms. "Have you been eating properly?"

"Yes, of course."

Most likely from jealousy, Lucas strutted over and sat on the opposite side of Jungwoo, cradling him. "Mine." He whispered deeply into Jungwoo's ear, sending shivers down his spine.

They all sat in complete, awkward silence. Renjun was reading a book, Taeyong was watching a show on the TV, and Lucas was studying Jungwoo playing on his phone.

Suddenly, Taeyong spoke. "Oh hey, do y'all want to go on a double date with me and Jaehyun tonight?"

Jungwoo perked up. "W-where are we going?"

"A bar."

"We're in." Lucas answered for him. Jungwoo looked back at him, smiling. "As long as you dress warm and don't exert yourself. You're sick, remember?" He added quietly.

He happily nodded.

The two hadn't gone on a real date since Lucas returned, so the opportunity would be great for them. Jungwoo reached back, finding Lucas' hand.

"You're excited, huh?"

Jungwoo just smiled.
